I finally purged all my male cloths and shoes except one winter coat to use when I have snow blow. And one Hawaiian Shirt that I got married in. It nice to go in a closet and nothing but women's cloths. :cheer:

Oh Glenda, I saw this and my initial reaction is, Oh No. Ok good on purging your male clothes, absolutely no reason to keep them around.

Congratulations Glenda! Maybe it seems like a small step, after a lot of steps to get to this point. But, it really is a huge step. It's finally dropping any pretense of having a male side, and sticking with your true self.

Why? I have tons of drab things I never wear. But, so what? They don't contaminate my fem things!
But, if I need the hanging space for Sherry's things? That's an entirely different matter!
Out they go!

I'm also in the process of slimming down my inventory of male clothes. Out of 48 dresses I have, I should be able to find something to wear.

Purging is something we all have done, many times, and that was what I thought when I read the your title.
I fantasize about living full time as a woman, and a woman has only one set of clothing. Unless ???
I envy you being able to do this but also realize it was a long time coming.
Transition is not a one step process and does not happen overnight.
I’ll never forget, I was setting in a lounge very nicely dressed from my make up to my open toe heels showing my polished toenails, a very nice lady bartender said to me “it takes a lot of work to be a chic”. Never a more accurate statement said.

Kind of puts purging in a new light for many of us. In a good way of course. I don?t need a total purge, but losing a few more guy clothes to make room for fem clothes would a a good thing in my book. A shelf or pole of pretty clothes is just so much more fun.

That must be quite the liberating feeling!
The closest I can imagine is the one week years ago that my wife was away and I booked the time off to stay home. I locked all male attire away in suitcases and put the keys in my car, spent the entire 8 days drawing only from my femme wardrobe.

Congratulations! it is very inspiring to me, I hope one day I may do just as you did, no matter what many think or say, doing what you did takes not only courage but also a state of mind that not all of us are able to reach and/or achieve.
