I wore a red sweater dress that I bought rather recently and went to the blood bank. I was calm enough to have acceptable pulse and blood pressure on the first try. I was directed to a donation bed and got on it. A woman was soon placed in the bed that was to the right of mine. After we were both connected and bleeding, I spoke to her about her athletic shoes. She started talking to me freely and did not stop until we were interrupted by the manager who came by and said that I looked beautiful in my dress. I have donated here several times and have built up some rapport with the manager. She is in her upper 20's, I think. She came over to speak to me and then complimented me. It was so special. After a couple sentences, she moved on and returned to her work.

I am a guy who presents male while crossdressing. I never knew people would be nice to me like this or that I could go out and do my regular guy things while dressed pretty.

You have a lot of courage, and I applaud what you do. I know some crossdressers have...shall we say different opinions...of those who do not attempt to fully present as female. I don't hold those opinions. You be you, and since you're pretty awesome it's a good job to have :)

Thanks everyone. Even though I do go out more than some people, I feel like I am still not very brave. I don't have any relationships with real people when I crossdress. I have gotten to know people at a consignment store and at the blood bank. But I don't have friends. I don't go places in order to see people when I am dressed up. I just do it all alone... I hear about people going to conferences and events and have local outings with a fellow crossdresser... I just haven't entered that world. I did go to a superbowl party once, and met some people... So it is not 100% true. But, that was a one-off.

If you are attentive you will attract attention from others.

interesting.
I've given blood in girl mode but still uncomfortable without the wig (especially with my thinning hair)
