Realized it was 38 years ago Liz Michelle first came out on this day this morning. I still remember it and was 8 years old. Mom came to pick me up from school early, had a dentist appointment I had. After the dentist appointment, mom stopped at a 2nd hand store looking for something and she noticed me going into the girl's clothing section seeing something I loved. Seen I had my eyes on a blue dress I liked and pulled it out showing it to her. I thought she would say no to me at first and said yes letting me try it on. Went into the dressing room by myself with her waiting outside taking my shirt, shoes and pants off putting on the dress. My eyes lit up and loved wearing it. Shown my mom and saw I loved the dress. Told get back in and take it off also saying she will buy it for me. I did and she did buy it for me. Saw I found myself finally knowing to let me find my true self being told by the doctors after being diagnosed with Aspergers when I was a year old. Mom, she knew a part time daughter was coming out that would be loved and accepted in.
