Most Saturday's it's usual for me to get 4-6 hours home alone time so I get the chance to dress fully sans makeup. Today was no exception, except all three of the neighbours with a view into our rear garden are away. So today I have the opportunity to go outside and enjoy the feel of the breeze.

The sunny weather we've been enjoying as moved on for now. This morning was sunny but it clouded over and we're down to a typical 16c which I'll take over rain thank you.

So I opted for a blue and while button through 3/4 sleeve summer dress I bought back in Feb from the clearance section and paired it with a pair of sling back kitten heeled shoes. It's not exactly earth shattering or wildly exciting to just go for a walk across the patio or to sit on one of the benches but escaping 4 walls even for a few minutes is like a breath of fresh air.

So if you'll pardon me, I'm off to grab a can of Pepsi, a biscuit to nibble, and sit on a bench and have a quiet drink while enjoying the outdoors for a few minutes. Just need to remember not to get my heel caught in the gaps in the decking!

Good for you, Helen, I know exactly that you are talking about there!

Our next door neighbors can look into parts of our backyard, including the backdoor itself, and since I am not out to them I am always careful f they are home.
Several times lately, they have both been away during the day, allowing me a lot of freedom to be outside. Weather here has been beautiful and warm, so I have taken advantage of the freedom and spent a fair bit of time outside.

Enjoy your "few minutes", and lets hope the Ducks line up again soon!

Well I got a few more mini sessions outside during the afternoon. I'd wash a few drab things and thought about hanging them out on the washing line but checking things out it's position would have left me visible to neighbours further away so opted for discretion over valour. I did realise however hat a few more steps down the garden hid me behind bushes and trees so giving me more freedom to roam.

Thing is as we all know, walking on a lawn I heels isn't straightforward, better suited for flats so it's something I'll file away for next time.

The down side of this. It's never enough. It makes you want for more at least in the short term.

I was very lucky to this weekend, both my neighbors were out last night and my wife suggested we have dinner outside. I finally got a chance to dress fully to my best. It was a little chilly last night but I but on the heater and it was fine. I haven't been going out lately and it was fireworks in my head feeling the breeze blowing up my dress and the feeling of sun on my pantyhosed legs. Let's hope we all can get more of this.

Sounds lovely Helen. I don't think I've ever had both neighbours (who can see my garden) away for a reasonable period at the same time... well not since I started dressing regularly anyway!
Some time in the sun would be nice.

Well it seems the gods are smiling on me again. I found out my immediate next door neighbours are away for a week from Wednesday and those the other side are still away till next week as well.

So while I can't make use of as much of my back garden the patio immediately outside the back door is out of view of all the rest of the neighbours so with good weather forecast I'll grab some time catching a few rays when the SO is out for a few hours which is most days. The one downside is Saturday when I normally get 4-6 hours home alone time I'm on family duties. Hey ho, life is what it is. Count your blessings as my old mum would say.
