View Full Version : My first year of CD

Some of you might have noticed I was a bit absent from this forum past few weeks. I have things going in my life, some good, mostly not, and I haven't had the time, energy nor will to show up here. Also due those circumstances my CD time was quite cut short and to be totally honest I also ate quite badly those few weeks and it starts to have effect on my body and how I feel about it, so diet and workouts, here I come! It was hard and exhausting, but my life started to stabilize finally and I should be doing fine again after May.

Anyway during those wild weeks it was exactly a year I started CD, so I decided to play classical music video, poured some water (not wine - diet) and do a bit of retrospective.

As it was mentioned several times in comments of my latest outing posts, I went quite far in relatively short time. Originally at the beginning I thought I'll be able to go out en femme in October/November after dark from a hotel I'll have to pay a room in. The reality was, that in the middle of October I was fully en femme in opera wearing long navy blue dress with a split and I went directly from my apartment and it was far from my first time going out. So I definitely exceeded my expectations by far.

What also surprised me, that as a woman I like clubbing (in reasonable amount). I was on New Year's Eve party and I was hit on by a man and that was fun. I genuinely enjoyed it. Then in January I was in opera again to see another play and this time in even better dress (the purple ones, if anyone remembers). I also went shopping and spoke with SAs several times, who were all great and respectful and addressed me as a woman (Czech language differentiates between f/m/it versions of some words), but because I'm sure it's not totally comfortable situation for them, I always spend nice money there.
Then I was in another club not so long ago and I had a great time there with two gays (don't make anything of this sentence, ladies) and then I went there again few days ago. April 30th is Witch-night here and on May 1st is national holiday, so I went there this time in all black as a proper witch and I was hit on again, but surprisingly by a woman. That was interesting and enjoyable as heck. I also spoke with another CD, I told her I love her shoes (I genuinely did) and she praised my boobs, so I told her about them and that they are just the belt, so I have no lines to hide on neck or shoulders and she really liked it. About half an hour later I found out she's a drag queen that was performing there. Overall I had a really nice night.

And I'll wrap it up with few observations and things I encountered and found out.
Being a woman is expensive. Like bloody hell why 7ml make-up costs $10+ ? And brushes! I want to paint my face, not Sistine Chapel! They don't have to be that special, I'm no Michelangelo.
Make-up sponge is perfect for blending, but absorbs soooooo much of product.
Wash your brushes.
The breast belt is perfect. You don't have to hide lines on your shoulders nor neck, as I mentioned, and you can wear almost every GG dress, that don't have too low cut in front or back. And if you're not too wild with jumping then if you choose proper size they hold even without a bra. But then lower back start hurt a little after a while, because it holds the whole weight. And it has also really hard nipples, which might look inappropriate sometimes.
If you have self-adhesive breast forms, then washing the adhesive layer with gall soap will renew it like a magic. Much better than a liquid soap. I sleep in them, so they need to be renewed every few days. I'm not using traditional bar soap though, so I don't know about that one.
I love shoes and especially high heels. 7,5-10cm/3-4in are perfect for me. All the pumps, boots, high boots, mules, sandals...they are like Pokemon. I want them all!
I've got quite stunning eyes, especially with false lashes and dark eyeshadows.
CD made me finally wax my hands and arms, which I like even in drab mode. They look much better like that.
Sometimes I wish I could go en femme to work.

And last but not least one surprising moment I had:
When I was at the second opera (the purple dress) I had to use ladies' room and when I finished and was pulling hip-pads up I realized I have male parts. I'm not exaggerating, but I literally forgot I have those and that I have to adjust them first. I was quite taken aback, because it wasn't the first week I had them.

So that's about it. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask :)

Hi Marketa

Sorry to hear that things have been a little rough lately hopefully you are now in a much better place even if you have some dreaded exercises ahead of you.

I totally agree with the expense, as a male I had 1 wardrobe, 1 pair smart shoes, 4 pairs of trainers and a beard trimmer for grooming, now my wardrobe is extensive God knows how much it has cost creating Amy.

Keep up the good work.

Amy x

Marketa, WHAT A YEAR! :)

You've inspired me to write for myself, to set out some expectations for the next 12 months (and not just CDing). Thank you!

It sounds as if you are off to a good start with many fun outings for your first year.

Clubbing is much different as a female. I hated clubbing as a male but love it in female mode. I am not surprised you were hit on by a female, especially in gay clubs. More woman than men will typically want to dance with you in my experience.

And yes it can be VERY expensive, but hey you are worth it , right ; )

Marketa, sorry about things not going well as of late. Hopefully it will all turn out good for you. You have had a year that was a dream come true for a lot of girls. As far as being hit on, I'm surprised it has only been 2 guys and 1 women. I'm sure when you look in the mirror and see yourself, you will understand the cost was well worth it. Best of luck to you, looking forward to hearing about more of your adventures.

Wow, Marketa! You've jumped into CDing with both feet! The whole 9 yards! Hope u feel better and get going again soon.

I'm curious about your breast appliance. U seem to like it a lot. But, as someone who usually wears breast plates which allow me to show cleavage to my naval, I was wondering:

What makes your breast piece any different from wearing a strapless bra and forms? I do that occasionally using foam forms which weigh nothing. Easy on my back and they never slide down.:)

Thank you for your wishes, girls. The most turbulent weeks are behind me, so I should be getting better and better.

@docrobbysherry I bought gel filled, so they have the weight and thus the movement and bounciness close to real breasts unlike foam forms or cotton filled boobs which my "plate" can be also bought with. Then also it has shape much closer to real breasts than usual forms with wide upper area where it transition from chest to boobs and then they have the side "boobage". I don't have the chicken thigh forms though, so I can't compare it with that.
For me personally it is the perfect intersection of standalone forms and a full breastplate.
And interestingly enough when I'm laying on my back the weight of the boobs on my chest has calming effect on me.

About being hit on: I was in a club 3 times so far and twice I was hit on, so I think it's quite a good statistics :) The one time I spent talking separately with the two gays was also great night.

My wardrobe is probably like 65:35 or maybe even 70:30 my clothes vs my drab's.
But our shoes ratio is 13:4 and I need at least 3 more pairs (black leather pumps, black sandals and white sandals for summer).
And don't get me started about mine vs his cosmetics.

I think this year will be better. Even if just for the fact that I don't have the fear someone will see me anymore like the year ago. And to be honest...I'm looking forward to it :)

Ah, Marketa.
You did make me smile when you were talking about the makeup and then the crack about the brushes.
The really (and I do mean really) expensive ones are like Ferrari's great to look at but do they do a better job than the cheaper ones?
In my view no. I use the cheaper ones from Amazon. I recently bought a set of Napoleon Perdis brushes that according to the price on the box were $495. On special (ha ha) $130. They are ok but nothing special.
Good makeup is also expensive and if you go through all the steps Moisturiser with SPF, Primer with SPF, Foundation, Concealer and so on it does cost. The thing is though it does give a good finish and it lasts.
When you are out in a club and it gets hot you know your makeup will last all night.

I hope that whatever problems you've been having are resolved or improving Marketa.
Congratulations on your "anniversary"!

I've not long passed 1 year since embracing my femme side and dressing regularly too, though it sounds like you've done a whole lot more than me.
(I have my first public outing just over 2 weeks from now).

I hope you remain regular on this forum, it's always a pleasure to interact with you!
