My wife and I took a trip out of town the past several days. When we went thru TSA on Thursday, they flagged my suitcase, so it went to a different section. The fellow asked me if there was anything sharp in the suitcase - no, there isn't. He opens it and very discreetly starts looking thru it. However, I could see the screen and there are two large brown areas. Those would be DD cup teardrop forms. I suspect others could see the screen but not what he discovered as he gently lifted two nighties that were over them. It didn't bother me at all. My wife, however, said, "That's embarrassing." I told her I was sorry she was embarrassed, but I wasn't at all embarrassed and it isn't anything they haven't seen before. On the return trip we sailed thru the screening. Had they flagged my suitcase again. I would have suggested my wife walk on ahead and I'd catch up to her.

Heather, As long as TSA acts professionally, is it really embarrassing? I am sorry your wife saw it that way.

I have a 2 overnight trip this week. I was thinking about going out dressed for dinner Thursday night. I realize that I would need almost 2 suitcases one each. It is just too much for me to manager. Drab mode all the way.

Take it from an Crossdresser soon to pass age 70, in any situation, embarrassment and stress usually vanish if you simply own it.

When we travel, my wife and I mix our clothing in the suitcases. That way if one gets lost or delayed, we both still have clothes the wear. Many seasoned travelers do the same, so I'm sure they thought nothing of it. I'm a scuba diver, so my gear almost always throws a flag for further search. I've never seen them bat an eye while pushing panties to the side to see what set off the system.

I've told the story before. TSA in DC, the DEI hire had to pull each form out and do an explosive test while the line backed up but in Vegas the nice lady just smiled and said,
"So, what show are you with, Hon?"

Been through a few times, one was with a shoe box 3 years ago with heels in them I bought while in the UK. I told them it was a pair of heels in them which I did declare, not drugs which they would not open box up. Almost came apart and finally did open the box up finding the heels, not drugs. Another one was leaving Italy finding 3 small boxes which had hoop earrings in them. The person was being a real pain calling them suspicous after scanning my carry on bag. Told them they were earrings I also declared. They opened them up finding the earrings

abby, I turn 80 in a couple of months and really don't care what anyone (other than my wife) thinks.
Jill, it would be a dream come true, but, again, I do care what my wife thinks and she would be 100% upset if I did that.
I understand my wife is tolerant but not a fan of my cross dressing. I am extremely thankful she tolerates it and gives me no grief about it at all. Heck, we sometimes have some fun exchanges about it. A couple of weeks ago as she was drying herself after a shower, I sat on the edge of our garden tub which means I'm going to be able to snuggle into her wonderful DD cup boobs. I was still in my nightie, bra, forms, etc. I had slept in. As I snuggled in close, I said, "I love your boobs," to which she replied. "I love your boobs, too." I said, "Well, that's nice to hear." She let me know she meant my natural boobs which might be an A cup these days. She was not referring to my DD forms. We both chuckled over her error. Point is, she's not a fan but is reasonable.

Last year at the Ft Lauderdale airport my carry on bag got kicked
out for additional screening.
The TSA guy said who bag is this? I said mine. we went to the side
and he ask asked what I had in my bag. I said clothes and breast forms.
He opened it ..look inside ..zipped it back up and said have a safe
flight.
I told wife and she just smiled and shook her head.

Yes, airport staff CAN be embarrassed!
On an out of state return flite my checked bag was over weight. So, I opened it in front of a line of impatient peoples waiting to check in. I removed several sets of silicone forms and put them in my carry-on as everyone stared. The male clerk reweighed my check on and it was still a few pounds over weight. As I went to open it and remove more forms he said with nervous glances at the folks in line, "Never mind! It's ok." And let me go. I could care less who saw my forms 3,000 miles from home!:daydreaming:

My wife and I went on a cruise last February and I happened to pack my hip and butt pads in my carry-on. My suitcase got flagged for a secondary check several times. What funny was both me and the TSA agent were baffled, and eventually, my suitcase was searched physically. As the (very respectful) agent moved my suitcase over, I then remembered what I did and nonchalantly told the agent about my pads. As he was checking them for “unusual substances” on the surface, he explained that silicone objects come up in some strange way on the scanners, at least at BWI. I said, yup, they’re silicone and part of my costume (which was true. I brought the pads primarily for my cruise costume.). Once I was cleared, all was well.

Carla, I have been through similar foolishness and worse at DCA, so much worse that I would not be allowed to describe it on this forum. My forms have been through many TSA screenings at many airports. At all but DCA, as soon as TSA officers see what they are, they quietly end the screening and they wish me a pleasant flight. Not DCA. I could write some horror stories about DCA. Fortunately, there are reasonable alternatives like Dulles and BWI, both of which I take often without any problems.

abby054 is so right. Just own it. It is so powerful and feels ever so great. Sorry about your wife feeling that way. I do like the way you handled it. You got this.

Every summer, I fly out to pick up the grandkids for a week long visit. I fly out in the morning to get them and come home with them the same day, then repeat that at the end of the trip. This year I was thinking I'd wear a skirt and my forms, just a MIAD, no makeup or wig. The problem will be that no one out there knows about Stephanie. So I plan on taking the forms out and changing out of the skirt before I get the kids. Having this happen when going through security with my forms in the bag is having me second guess wanting to do it.

I always check the bag with my forms. I live in central Texas near Waco. When I fly out of the Waco airport TSA always opens my suitcase. (They leave a note.) When I drive up to Dallas and fly out of DFW, they never do.

I have been through TSA several times now and haven’t had much trouble. I’ve been pulled aside once or twice for breast forms or a tangled mess of wires for headphones and chargers. I kind of enjoy it now, seeing how people react to how I dress.
I will be flying to Vegas in a few weeks. I’ll have my nails done, and eyelash extensions. I plan to wear a cute skirt and a comfortable tee shirt with no breast forms or bra. Just me being me, dressing how I want. Who cares what other people think.
Side note, I will be traveling alone, my wife is not coming this time. But I have gone through TSA with her with long painted nails before

Is DEI hire now code for non white people? You automatically assume any non white person is an undeserving hire ?
