I love cycling, so I thought I'd mix that with my love of wearing women's underwear and tight-fitting clothes.
So I got the courage to find a local forest, which I thought would be quiet at 8 in the morning, changed into my sports bra and gym shorts, and set off. This was my first time 'outside' dressed up! I felt scared but liberated. I even stopped once to setup my camera, take a video and photos, but at that point a man walked past walking his dog, asked if I was 'alright', then walked on. I felt really embarrassed, but also kind of good that at least someone had now seen me dressed.

Has anyone else had this sort of experience, or do they like to cycle dressed in women's sports clothing?

I love cycling too. I remember years ago oogling these gray and pink shorts woman?s shorts and wondering if I could get away with wearing them. Never did order them however.

Your post made me think about cycling on cool mornings wearing my leggings. Wearing a sports bra would take it up a notch. Something to think about. I currently don?t own a sports bra.

The biggest hurdle I would have would be leaving the house with wife and neighbors present. Like you I would have to change away from home I think.

Have to ponder that for a bit??

I regularly go out in hybrid mode. That is, no wig or breast forms, just a man who
likes to wear cute girls' clothes. The key is to just own your space like it's no big deal,
stay present in the experience, and have a good time.

I used to be a cycling manic. Some might have been able to match the distance I could ride in a day, but I wouldn't let someone exceed me :) Even proved it once when I was 18, riding 110 miles in ~7 hours. I didn't have cycling gloves at the time. Rookie mistake. Some of my fingers were numb for days afterwards. But, I don't cycle much anymore. Times change.

But, while I haven't ridden crossdressed in a forest, I have gone for hikes in forests while partially crossdressed. Those times were the first times I ever ventured out knowing there was a fair chance I'd be seen, and I was.

Darn, now you have me thinking of various ways to cycle enfem. Matching shirts and a bra top would be awesome. Not sure I have the courage to pull it off around here though.

How did you take the picture? Remote or timer? Or did you just ask another rider to take it? I suspect the former. Says a thousand words of course.

@Traci H: I recorded a video, and then captured a still image from the video.

I regularly wear black shiny leggings when I am out and about. I always where them when I use the exercise room at the local senior center. Leggings and a T Shirt are my attire and no one seems to notice or care.

Is your tee shirt on the long side to hide the bulge, or do you just go with the flow?

Been cycling many times wearing tights and leotard, sport bra with forms. Just flat trails.

I’ve worn a few different female outfits while cycling. My favorite is a tee shirt with a denim skort. Always with a wig.

I've worn a women's trisuit with very short legs while cycling 1 mile to take a dip in the local river, and have two more cheeky trisuits (one-piece and two-piece swimsuits with bike padding) waiting for runs and bike rides on forest trail or beach, only wore them for swimming so far.

Another devoted cyclist here. I've gathered quite a lot of feminine kit. Once you figure out the sizing, there's little difference between the outerwear of the genders (unless you opt for a skirt). Team EF and the Giro d'Italia makes it easy even to go fully pink! Wigs and shapewear are another matter, usually being far too hot to wear for any serious riding. In the winter I have sometimes ventured out with a sports bra under my jersey, filled with lightweight, breathable foam forms, but in the summer that's out. I found a braid hair extension and sometimes affix that inside my helmet, but no one can see your hair under a helmet anyway. That pink blur rushing by might have been anybody!

A lot of my women's kit comes from Terry Cycling. They have a wide range of apparel and accessories (even saddles and helmets). Their pricing is moderate, but they have frequent sales, so if you pay attention you can score some nice bargains.

I'm also a dedicated cyclist of more years than I care to think, and agree with Vivian, there is not a lot of difference between the outwear, and team colours make it even easier. I did try a skort, but to be honest it did not really work, actually restricted pedalling,. Again, like Vivian, I avoid forms and a wig, just too hot to be comfortable.
One thing that I will never do is to wear a sports bra, or any open backed top, it is just too easy to get sunburn, without realising it.

Today I tried a braided hair extension which fed through the hole in the back of my cycle helmet. TBH it couldn't have looked worse. I'm not trying to 'pass' when I dress, but this just looked so out of place.
Anyway - another step taken as this was the first hair extension I've tried. Maybe I will try a proper wig next, though thank you @VivianNewkirk and @kayegirl for your advice regarding wearing them while cycling; I cycle hard rather than have a slow pedal, so they will no doubt be far too hot to wear while cycling. On the plus side, I've recently bought a new thinner sports bra which I can't wait to try on my next ride!

I've gone mountain biking several times in my version of en-femme. I usually wear black spandex biking shorts (for the padding) and have been known to wear a sports bra and forms underneath a baggy shirt. And a helmet of course. Even taken the shirt off a few times when I was on trails that I know from experience are almost empty. Also tried a couple of times in one of those work-out tank tops with the built-in bra. That didn't go so well. Once I got sweaty, the forms started moving all over the place. So, if I wear one of those I wear a racer-back cotton bra underneath for support.

The worst experience I had was riding through the parking lot to the trails. It was pretty empty, except for 1 car that I recognized. A co-worker and his wife. I ended up pretending I didn't see them and then took off down the trail. Once I reached an out of the way spot I ditched the forms and the tank top in the heavy brush. Then caught up to them on the more heavily used trails and said hi. Did a short ride, retrieved my chest and went to a section of trails I knew they wouldn't be riding.

I haven't tried cycling... yet. In very cool weather I have put on women's running shorts or leggings, and my B cup forms with a jogging bra. A loose sweatshirt and off I went. It was a little scary when I passed people on the pathway but no real stares, except one. No comments at all. And it felt great feeling my boobs lightly bouncing as I ran.

I have done some cycling on trails.
Love wearing tights but I really need to tuck well.
I usually do not wear a sports bra. It is too confining for me, I like the feeling of bending over and feeling my boobs sway.

I'm so passionate about us Girls getting out.
We need to look good, maybe not, we just do!

Going out Cycling, Walking, Kayaking or else is so important.

Our health and happiness is more important than others opinions.

I ride a lot and almost always wear a sports bra and forms. Sometimes people notice but usually just keep to themselves. I?ve only been confronted once by a woman and she was not very nice to say the least. I just told her to mind her business and enjoy the rest of her day. Remember always wear your helmet.

I have graduated from the basic black cycling shorts to some of the cuter ones by keeping my eyes on the sales. My size usually sells out last in most women’s catalogs. I have various sleeveless tops including a couple of racerbacks. My wife isn’t thrilled with the tan lines but we rarely go swimming which is the only place I would be out topless. Sometimes I will throw a sports bra in with my repair kit and change in a discrete location. As much as I would love to ride in just a bra, those tan lines would be more problematic. Also, I see very few female cyclists riding in just a bra, now changing tops in the parking lot, yes all kinds of women wearing just a bra top, but not while riding.

As Stacy said, we need to get out and be seen. Who was that guy in the cute shorts??
