I often Work From Home, and a large part of this time is taken up with video calls. This gives me an opportunity I would never have taken - or never feel comfortable taking - in the office.

While I wear a shirt on top, beneath I'm wearing my padded bra, partially in but mainly off-camera. If you looked closely at me on the video you would probably notice something, and if I moved up in my seat or stood up it wold be obvious.

Doing this was first time was a big step for me (and I paid zero attention to what was said in the meeting as a result!) Now its often the norm.

Does anyone else have a similar experience with work video calls and what they would wear during them as oppose to in an actual office?

I get to WFH a lot and many days, I'll have my polo shirt with the company logo on top and skirt, nylons and heels below. I have a big desk and so I can easily only show the upper part of my body on camera - if it's required to have it on. Many days, I'll wear a heavier polo shirt with a t-shirt and bra under that and it's not noticeable, thankfully.

Fortunately, the remote work calls I participate in they are fine with voice only, no video, so I can look however I like.
Unfortunatley, with my son living back home with us, I'm not able to be on the calls dressed anyway, but I probably would otherwise.

YES! I have a quick 7am meeting every Wednesday. I wear and fit and flare dress in solid colors. Black, Blue, and Red. The tops look like fitted textured short sleeve shirts. Because I am only seen from the chest up they don't see the bottom of the dress, nylon tights and heels. OH I love doing this. Loving my early Wednesday's.

I may get about one sometimes two days a week I can dress, but always keep a work polo handy for video calls. But depending what I am wearing like a tshirt style dress and a casual meeting with colleagues it?s ok. My camera at home is quite high by using a webcam on my monitor rather than the laptop.

Oh you like to play with fire! Hope you don't have any reflective surfaces in the background like a glass-paneled shelves or an open window in summertime. My advice: keep the camera off when you do these things. But I suppose some dig the thrill.
