Where Would You Go First?

Many years ago, a local radio station had a contest in cooperation with a local grocery store. The winner got to keep whatever he/she could put in their cart in sixty seconds. For some reason, I thought of this the other day and would like to add a bit of an unusual twist to it

With the long weekend coming up, a very large department store with all kind of women's merchandise is closing for the entire time. YOU are hired as the only person to be the night watchman on duty for a twelve hour shift. After locking the building and insuring that no one else is present, you decide to check out a few of the departments that would be of interest to most of us here.

Where would you go and what would you do first? You could go to shoes, bridal, lingerie, formal dresses, swimwear, sleepwear, casual clothes, makeup or any other place that would be of interest to you. What would you like to look at, like to try on or even wear for a while?

Personally, I'd go to sleepwear and look for a long flowing double layer gown with matching sheer robe. I don't even think they make them like that any more but I'd still look.

First stop…. Bras, girdles and corsets!! This was a dream I used to have when I was younger. Trapped in a department store for a night. I had totally forgotten about this dream and have not had it since before I started going out enfemme.

Amazing Karen, I shared the same dream when I was young. Specifically I would dream that I was left overnight in Sears and I would be able to wear anything I wanted. For me it was go directly to the lingerie department and find bras and panties.

I am definitely heading to the lingerie department first. Then maybe dresses. I would say shoes for my third choice, but I have yet to find a department store with size 13 pumps.

Yeah! After spending all night roaming the store, trying on everything…. My dream always ended with the store opening in the morning and me totally dressed with makeup and hair and all the accessories, walking out the front door as a beautiful woman!

Interesting. Long ago before I actually had a career, I was in maintenance at a large four anchor shopping mall. My shift was 10pm-6am. I would empty all the trash, lock the doors and then raise the flags in the morning.
Completely alone and all the stores were locked. Every now and then I would perform my work in various stages of feminine dress watching my reflection in the storefront windows. One evening I was informed that a lot of extremely expensive fur coats from a fashion show were locked in the security director's office. Of course I tried on every single one of them!

What I would do is to visit the departments in order of dressing up. And I would end up in Bridal department. I always wanted to wear a beautiful gown.

Now after all that I would be dressed and make up perfectly it would be time to get back to male mode. But I cannot get out of the dress without some help. I can see it now......

I would just say to own it. Stand tall in your 4" heels.

Why do you have to be locked in the store at night? You can go to these departments while the store is open.

I used to dream of having a night cleaning job at Fredericks of Hollywood. I would try everything on. Later I went there during normal hours and tried on a lot of bras.

That's one in a lifetime, right? I mean, mmmh? Mmmh? Mmmh. Oh okayyyyyy. I'll just grab a pair of pantyhose and call it a night. Yay.

Obviously to the bras, corsets and stockings!

But I would need a sympathetic companion to fasten my bra bands, tighten my straps, lace me in and clip up my suspenders. They would also need to follow behind, putting all the discarded bras back on the hangars.

I had to smile. Over the years, I?ve had the same dream. What fun to spend a night, by yourself in a Department store. No hesitation, 1st hosiery, bras, panties, skirts, sleepwear etc.

My fantasy (can't say I ever dreamed this)...well, this is maybe dark but not intended so... is kinda like "The Stand", where all the stores are open, but there's nobody around for many miles. I could shop to my heart's desire and try on and get anything I wanted. Unlimited shopping!

Within just one store; yeah I'd head to lingerie first and foremost. Shoes probably after that, and then either bridal or formal dresses. Like valerie anne, I'd want someone to follow along to help me and put things back as needed :)

Haha! Often a fantasy of mine. I would have liked this to have happened about 30 years ago when you could buy garter belts and stockings and nice floral print nylon brief panties and lacy slips and camisoles in your local department stores. I would spend the entire shift in the lingerie department. Add a Time Machine to your hypothetical scenario.

First skirts, then non-formal dresses, then comfortable but cute shoes. Maybe cute tops and then some jewelry. I'm just not a glamorous girl! No formal gowns, heels, wedding dresses, etc. for this down-to-earth, boring dresser.

First comes a big bag of chocolates. Then its off to the makeup counter, the shapewear section for some curves, and then to the dresses and shoes. With my luck I?d end up waking up in the stores display window the next morning all dressed up with a face full of chocolate! Movie reference anyone?

Before my interest in lingerie went further than nightie my wife and I had a little bedroom play with lingerie. After out wedding I had bought her a white nightgown as you described. We bought for me a pink nightgown as you describe. When my wife was clearing out the nightgowns that no longer fit her (sigh!) she offered to me any that I wanted. I did not know anything about women's sizes and I had ended up getting that white one is a size that swam on her. I still sleep in those peignoirs. Both were purchased in 1971 and 1972.

I have an addiction for nylon nightgown. My collection hit 73 this past week with the acquisition of three more ankle length nightgowns. You can figured out exactly where I would be headed.

If I could do something like this, I'd be like a kid in a candy store. I'd be running everywhere!

I think that after a quick stop in lingerie to get the proper underthings, I'd be spending the majority of my time trying on all the different dresses, slacks, tops, etc. and figuring out just what sizes/styles/colors worked best for me.

The big question is - would I have to put it all back at the end of the night, or could I keep some of it?

I would probably first make it so the cameras are stuck on a loop of the area for a bit. Then I would definitely make my way over to the dresses section and try on a few. Then head over to the makeup department and take some of the samples and come up with a simple look. After a little photo session I would make my way to the everyday section and then come up with a casual look. And then do another little photo session.

Ahhh, it?s so hard to choose just one place!
I think I?d run straight to the lingerie section ? lace, satin, sexy bodysuits? they've always fascinated me! I?d try on a few pieces, admire myself in the mirror, and enjoy that delicious mix of excitement, freedom, and a little nervousness.
Then, without a doubt, I?d head to the formal dresses ? long, flowing, elegant ones ? like something straight off a red carpet. Just imagining myself gliding through a ballroom in heels and a stunning gown? wow
If I had time (and courage!), I?d stop by the makeup section and play around with lipsticks, eyeshadow, and maybe even some false lashes. It would be a magical night.

Women's swimsuits. It's not a fetish thing with me. I've got an event coming up, so I'll need one that's blendy and modest in all the right places. Being able to try a bunch on would be very helpful'
