Well,
Today is the 3rd day in a row I am fully dressed. I also plan on tomorrow to dress all day.
I am no longer getting surprised by the image I see in the mirror as I walk past. It is becoming normal.
I am worried that my first inclination to put on clothes in the morning is my girl stuff. It is normal for me.
I think the fact that I have breasts now and no longer need forms is pushing me in that direction. Yikes.

Natalie,
That is cool as long as your wife does not have a problem with it. I could never do that.
Has her stance become more tolerant over time ?

For a while I would go 4-6 months between. I don?t know why, just dressed when the urge was strong enough. For two + months now , nearly every day. If it was all day, I don?t know where that would lead. It?s generally 2ish hours a day , this morning it was a mini and a dressy T with heels of course. It will be a tough day giving up the heels.

Before I got married a couple months ago, I dressed most days. Although I do not go out except on drives in late night winter time. The wife knows but is still on the fence about seeing me dressed.

About my wearing of dresses: I wear them ALL THE TIME. The last time I wore trousers was to my mother's funeral in 2024 late September. I wear dresses to go shopping, to church, to my local amateur radio club, etc.

I am generally dressed from between 5 p.m. & 8 p.m. until between 8 a.m. & 10 a.m. the next morning. That's between 12 and 17 hours each day/night. My dressing in bed always includes bra, forms, and a nightie. I also enjoy wearing thigh highs to bed and do so most nights. I've been doing this every night since January 1, 2022. I start the evening in a dress and change to a nightie between midnight and 1 a.m. In the morning, I will put a dress on if I plan to stay dressed for more than 30 minutes or so. Breakfast in a dress is always a pleasure.

I dress every night now, and have for the last 6 months. Like Heather, for bed that's bra, forms, and nightgown with some form of hosiery. That's usually pantyhose, but lately I've been enjoying a garter belt I recently acquired and stockings.
Outside of bed, time is usually limited. I try to dress as often as I can, but it's difficult to find time.

I dress mostly weekdays in the mornings from
7 am to 11 am. I Do my shopping and run my
errands.
The rest of the day and weekends I'm my
wife's husband.
She's OK with that.

Ok Natalie you have developed your own breasts, dressing multiple days in a row and while your wife is present I would love to have your new normal. Enjoy

Natalie, to answer your question, I would have to experience unlimited opportunity. As it is, in total DADT, I can sleep in bra/forms, nightgown (seperate rooms) enjoy the same with coffee and email in the morning and then make my way to the playhouse for dresses, heels, makeup, etc. before she wakes @9am. Sometimes even a bit of adventure out and about in the early morning. Having staycations by myself I've gotten the 24/7 experience.

Great going Natalie! I dress every day, mostly all day, but on days like today when I expect a handyman round to do some work in my house and garage, I temper it a bit. I am wearing femme undies, femme denim shorts and a unisex teeshirt. I did start with a white sports bra under the teeshirt, but it was visible, so I removed it. I try to make my everyday, public appearances as "normal" as they can be while wearing as much femme clothes as I can without drawing attention to myself. Being widowed and living alone has its advantages.

As mentioned numerous times my wife and I sleep apart for medical and comfort reasons. That affords me the ability to sleep in a bra and panty and a nightie. Sometimes I also wear a below the knee full slip under the nightie. She is also a late riser so my femme time usually extends to 10:00 AM. Today I am pecking away in a white bra and panty set under a salmon color ankle length Shadowline nightgown. Before my wife retired I was able to be en femme every workday from 8:39 AM to 3:30 PM. When she took a trip out of state for seven to ten days it was 24/7. I miss those days.

Throttle back? Not. I dress every day. Another perk of retirement. It?s pretty much automatic. I?m not quite a b cup, close, but I so enjoy wearing forms. I?ve recently discovered front clip bras, Glamorize, and love ?em. Go for it.

What works for one person may not work for another.
There are so many variables. For those that are totally in hiding, they may only get
once a year. For others that are fully out, they may dress every day.
So whatever works for your life, That is best.
For me, When I had COVID (twice) I dresses 24/7 the whole time I was home.
2 weeks the first time and 1 week the second time. I found after the 2 week stint
that I was starting to feel that Raychel was taking over. It may have been the isolation that was getting to me.
But I did fully enjoy that time. the second time, I also dressed 24/7, That was so perfect.
If society accepted my style of dressing. I fear I would end up dressing 24/7 pretty near all the time.
Of course when Guy things needed to be done. House repairs ect, Then the guy side would protest and show up.
Now I dress every day when Having morning coffee, then after the day is done I will dress again.
So I get to enjoy my true style 5 to 7 hours a day. Sometimes more, sometimes less.
It seems to be enough to get me thru the days. :)

I dress everyday and thankfully my wife likes me like that.
My wife is good for two days of dressing so most of the year that is my limit. Usually every other week.
In the summer she travels to different relatives. While she is gone, I will dress for longer periods.
I will dress until the yard needs mowing and take a day off. Then I mow and do my errands. So usually, six days and then start dressing again.
Why it was hard on my wife during Covid I dressed for 12 days. I enjoyed the 12 days especially when a few days in when doing the makeup, putting on the clothing was just a normal daily routine.

I did almost a week once. Frankly, it was exhausting trying to look good that many days in a row! After that I just wanted to wear sweats and a tee and look grubby! I seriously do not know how women do it day in and day out.

I agree with Karen the work is almost overwhelming. For example being going to polish my nails this week today. Well week is almost over, and still bare. I have just started adding a moisturizer daily and that's a start.
I have a ton of items to get rid of as I'll never wear them again as now looking for a more normal wear style and not party or bold styles.
How much? about where I am now. This year instead of just dressing at night, I bookend dressing. A couple hours in morning and a couple hours in evening. More than that is annoying and too much work.
Just for experiment I tried 3 days of dressing while up. Both of us felt that was too much.
Hope this can help you all in your quest for what's best for me in my situation.

Every day would be fine for me.
Sometimes other responsibilities interfere, but that's fine as I know I can dress whenever I please.

All the time would be nice; but for me, that's not reality. I simply don't want to deal with the backlash from the cretins of the world who hate us and feel the need to make a violent statement as such. So I wear my 'man uniform', to do any chores out in public. Much like my work uniform, I just look at it as something that I wear to get something in particular done, which in my mind means I have to deceive the world into believing that I'm just another normal guy. So far, it's worked pretty well, other than the ruination of my marriage, and basically being removed from contact by my sister. I haven't told anyone else after those two disastrous episodes.
So, I sleep nightly wearing girl PJ's, change to daytime girl clothes until I have to leave the house for the day, and change back when I come home. Fortunately, that's just enough to keep the GID at bay.

About one day a week for me, but only because it's the most I can do due to my circumstances. I'm happiest when I'm in full girl mode - clothes, shapewear, makeup, wig etc. Of course this takes time, so occasionally I'll just throw a dress and a wig on for an hour or two. It's not the same though - I want to look in the mirror and see something close to a woman and not just a guy in a dress!

I don?t know how much is good for me. I would need to push the limits to find out. My wife is against all aspects of cding and tries to make sure I get little time to dress.
I find even when I have the time, so much of it gets consumed with hauling everything out and returning it. If I had all my fem things readily available, dressing might be easier. Oh to have a lingerie drawer chest!! Then because I don?t go out in public dressed, I always have to revert to drab mode if I need to run an errand or such.
I think ultimately I would find full dressing maybe two days a week would work for me. Underdressing and stealth dressing would work in between. I find wearing my woman?s jeans, light makeup and using a purse out in public helps keep things in check otherwise.

I wear androgynous women's clothes more often than men's clothes in public on a daily basis. I've noticed that since I started doing this dressing completely as a woman isn't as compelling as it once was. Though I still enjoy it, it is not nearly as frustrating as it once was when circumstances prevented it.

Sadly I do not know the answer but I know it is more than I am currently able to do it. I would probably be good with a day a week, but also would be for more than a couple hours that day. I have never gone a full day from morning to night and wonder if that would be a great as it sounds.

I was out walking today, and considered this thought again. I plan on retiring in the not too distant future. When that happens, I think I'll try going fully en femme for a month and see where that leaves me feeling.

" We can only be who we are" ....as a lifelong single, this question has puzzled me for years.
It seems cyclical in intensity. I have worn panties only for 25 years now and sleep in nighties, this seems to provide a base requirement which everything else is layered on.
Sometimes my full dressing will goa bit dormant for a few weeks and suddenly come on like a tsunami of need to be the woman I long to be.
I have often felt sunlight plays a role as I generally feel more feminine and amorous as the days grow shorter, also getting way more guy crazy when I dress as I age...oi.

I could never do it everyday for a month. I would get bored and all the labor involved vs just pulling up my shorts and putting on a Tee shirt.
It gets really hot here in the central valley of California. Over 100 degrees last 5 days in a row. It might drop to 98 degrees on Tuesday this week. Cool off time maybe middle of September. Makup would just melt off me.
