I'm transitioning I do everything female. My daughters call me dad which I'm ok with because I am their dad. My grandkids call me grandpa/grandma:). My niece and nephew and kids call me auntie Glenda. Some of my friends call me Glenda and some call me by my legal name of Glenn telling me that there is an actress named Glenn Close. When out with my ladies friends we are greeted as ladies. I've call madam, honey, sweetie. I have only a few that new me before that won't address me at all.

Does anyone else have any trouble with being addressed when dressed as female.

Hi, Glenda!
I get everything! Ma'am, miss, honey, girl(as in Go girl!) also sir which I have come to ignore! Daughter and son call me dad! Most just call me Lana or Lana Mae!
I generally am happy and content in my daily life! Hope you are feeling the same!
Hugs Lana Mae

The men at my gym who knew me previously call me Phil.
The ladies old and new all call me Philippa.
It is always her, she, madam or ladies when with others. Rarely do people forget but if I do get to hear 'he' I just ignore it. It all depends on how I look.
At the gym I look like a guy with boobs in a leotard. A little eye makeup always. With the amount of sweat I lose there is no way to wear a wig.
Nobody cares.

I get addressed as everything as well. Sometimes I get addressed as "sir" when I do stuff that females rarely do, like buy bucket of foam practice balls at Target. Or carry ten pounds of groceries wearing 3 inch platforms.
Everyone is respectful where I live.

I saw a waitress recognized me and breathe a sigh of relief as I picked an outfit that was very feminine so there was little doubt that she could use feminine names. And less likihood she would forget which ones to use.

I have been misgendered on a few occasions, but muchmore often than not I am addressed appropriately for my presentation. It no longer comes as a surprise but being referred to as she, miss or ma?am always is gratifying.

It's a mixed bag for me. I have only once, in Harbor Freight, been referred to as "him" when en femme. The rest of the time I would say it is 1/3 "ma'am" or equivalent, and 2/3 "guys", or just not using pronouns. In the latter case, I like to think it's because they're not completely sure I'm a woman, and don't want to hurt my feelings either way. The location seems to make no difference. I have had neutral responses in girly shops, and "ma'am" when buying propane in my giant Suburban. You just never know how people are seeing you. If it makes a difference, I dress to blend, so frequently (in warm weather) capris, simple tops, minimal makeup and light or no lipstick. In cool weather jeans, skirts with tights, and sweaters, usually. I feel like if I am out with a GG, it is more likely that someone will also refer to me as "ma'am". (I live in the southern US, so "sir" and "ma'am" are very common).

I'm a CD so I don't dress around family.:battingeyelashes:

Whether SA's and servers call me, Mr, Sir, or Ma'am I could care less as long as they're respecful and do their job well!

I have mirrors. I know I'm a MIAD. If u need strangers to call u ma'am to make your day and you're an obvious MIAD? You're going to be disappointed often!

My family members call me gram. I often get called honey by cashiers. When I am out with my wife servers often address us a ladies regardless of how I am dressed. My students call me professor or doctor.
