I had a home health visit tonight, and I had been dressed all day, so I thought "what the heck" and decided to stay dressed for the visit. Of course the nurse had my information and knew that I was male. When he arrived, we sat down and I said "Sorry to surprise you with ..." and indicated my outfit, and he just laughed and said "That's OK". He was very nice and respectful. He took my BP, checked my heart, etc. Early on he need to get my weight. I got up on the scales, and realized I was wearing about 3 pounds of boobs. I said "maybe I should get rid of these", and he said "sure", so I went to my office and took them out. Every little bit helps. I left them out for the rest of the visit. He also had to clip sensors on my fingers and toes, both of which had polish. All in all, as usual, me being dressed was not a big deal. I was wearing my Talbott's denim skirt with a bright flowered blouse and low-heeled black sandals, along with gold hoops and my usual minimal-ish makeup.

I guess between breast forms and hip padding a person can easily shed a few pounds. I wish dieting was so effective.

Joanie, great post, I wish when I gain weight all the three pounds would go only to my boobs :).

If only we could remove extra weight that easily on other areas of our body. Your story made me laugh I remember my first set of forms the lady that helped me pick them out said get ready to have a sore back.

Doctors see wilder stuff on daily basis, especially those working in ER, so I guess crossdresser is the least thing that would even get raised eyebrow from them.

Marketa: Yeah, I just thought it was a funny situation. The nurse didn't bat an eye. I'm sure he's seen it all before.

I must confess to some confusion, Joanie. U knew the forms weigh 3 pounds and the nurse knew u were a crossdresser or trans. So, why take out the forms?
Were u worried the nurse thot u put on 3 pounds?
Or, were u hoping for some reaction from him re your CDing?

Love it. I think I'll start weighing myself dressed and when I need a pick me up I'll switch to my birthday suit and hop back onto the scale. Who needs Ozempic?!

I'm with Doc. Was 3 pounds going to change the treatment options for something? When I go to the dr.'s office I get weighed, my shoes are on, my phone is in my pocket, etc.
