I arrived into Orlando earlier this week and had dinner at the Outpost Neighborhood Tavern. I showed up in drab and was immediately greeted by great staff and was seated. I placed drink order and asked the waitress for an honest answer regardless of the answer. She agreed and I asked if it would be okay if I went and changed into a dress? She said absolutely so I did. I wore the dress in my profile and received several compliments. The food was good but the service WOW the service was the best I have ever received anywhere. No show nothing fake just real people doing a great job. I would like to thank them and the management what a great experience.

Stopping by one last time mid afternoon to for a bite before I have to leave town.

I golf at a private club as a Senior Resident member, which means the staff knows that I'm AMAB and wear skirts on the golf course.
In this case it is DADT relationship but I've I'm treated very well by the staff.
I do it to respect the dress code, which says that shorts much reach the knee but is silent on skirts.
I discovered that 17 inch knee length skirts are easily purchased. Shorts for women are much shorter than that.
While I could cut down and hem a pair of pants, most women's polos aren't meant to be tucked, as women golfers rarely wear belts. A belt in needed to insure a tucked shirt stays tucked.

I just found a pair of Bonobos Men's shorts that fit me quite well at a very nice discount. 28 inch waist and 10 inch length. After years of shopping for golf clothes I finally found something that fits that meets their dress code.

Keremy, thanks so much for the the review of that restaurant. I'm VP of a local CD group and we are always looking for new places for our Girls Night Out. By coincidence, I came across an ad for that restaurant just yesterday and have passed it along to our group President for consideration.

Maid Marion I recently discovered that if a polo / golf shirt has small slits on the bottom sides its to be worn outside otherwise its to be tucked into the waistband.

Glad you had a great time in Orlando we recently came back from a holiday there and have to agree that the vast majority of people we met were super friendly probably the only ones not to friendly were ironically staff at Universal Studios which you would think would be.

Wasn't as brave as you dining out dressed but was caught arriving back to the gated villa complex fully dressed in a convertible by the female security staff who to my horror came out for a chat and was super complimentary although surprised I was pantyhosed in the heat.

All in all a great time and would love to go back again and maybe be a bit braver.
