So, I needed to get shorn, my hair was becoming to unruly.

I call over to my place and they give me a time in a few hours. I, of course, dress in the meantime with a nice little choker collar to finish my look. It dawns on me about an hour before that the collar is a bit tight. . . .take it off and sure enough there's a nice indentation. (It didn't feel that tight- honest). So I grab my shower- still there.

So. . .I end up going to my haircut appointment in a button down shirt and tie. . . .

So, for those of us not out, what's the most insane thing you've done to cover an unexpected consequence of dressing?

I'll bite. When I was a teenager I had an afternoon appointment for a physical examination for a summer job with United Parcel Service. My family was visiting my grandparents and would be gone overnight. The only femme garments I had were my mother's. I loved pulling on her open bottom girdle, along with panty and stockings. I spent a good part of the morning wearing that girdle. When took it off I saw the indentations of the seams of the girdle all over my butt. Yikes! Holy smoke! I spent hours kneading the flesh of my butt to get rid of the markings. I know I went off to the appointment with some faint indentations. I hoped they would finally disappear while enroute on the subway ride. The doctor who did the physical never said a word or gave any non verbal ques. I learned from that experience to remember girdles and bras can leave telltale marks.

My story is about 10 years ago I had a noon appointment with a skin doctor to look at a spot of concern well my wife was at work and I was up early showered and thought what a great time to dress up I put on an all in one shape garment with a built in bra the shaper was a couple sizes too small but gave me great cleavage under my v neckline dress. 1 hour before my appointment while looking in the mirror I noticed all the indentations my shape wear left I was in panic mode and nearly called to cancel my appointment but I just sucked it up and went my doctor said nothing during the exam but the lines were still very visible I often wonder what he thought after I left that day. I called that a rookie crossdresser mistake.

I swear I was only out in the sun for about 20 minutes, but there was an unmistakable bra tan line. So, I tried to erase the tan lines by spending more time in the sun. Oh no, they were still there just so I kept sunning. Ended up getting quite the sun burn trying to erase the lines, but they stayed with me all summer and i never took my shirt off.

Good thing I read all these posts over the years. I had a doctor's appointment a few days ago and had some free time several hours before. So, what do we all do with free time? I was going to go full out, but realized that certain undergarments will leave discernable lines and decided against dressing fully. Wouldn't you know it, but I didn't have to disrobe this time.

I'm not supposed to give medical advice, but I think this is safe. The old hickey trick helps. Scratch the area with the comb. It'll get nice and red and bring blood to the area. Maybe just to the surface. That will help the mark go away faster. At least that's what I do with sock marks, and it seems to help.

For doctor appointments I really don't care what they see as I ALWAYS wear lace panties. Last week I had a doctor appt. which I was certain would not involve exposing my panties. What I wasn't ready for was when he asked me to remove a shoe (checking blood pressure in my foot). Yep, I have a pink glitter polish on my toenails. He didn't say a thing and there was no "hiccup" in his exam.
