I'd have to say it is a foundation garment or should I say, foundation garments. I was deluded into thinking if I wiggled into one I would look like one of the models in the advertisement, who needed a girdle like she needed another hole in her head. If you're overweight, they ain't going to work. I your want to slim down any inch..maybe.

Same with me, great in the picture, but not great when I tried it on. It went straight to a charity shop.

It is the only time I wore a head feather. I was testing the outfit at 2 AM after a night of clubbing. It was so awkward that a woman was on the elevator when I was going down to the lobby to get this pic. She said I looked awesome but used an expletive . Haha. It?s not something to wear to the grocery store.

For me, part of the forever journey of acceptance is the reality that I will never look like I want to look, and must instead focus on how I feel rather than how I look. I don't like looking in the mirror that much when I am dressed because it is always disappointing. Sometimes less disappointing than other times, but always disappointing.

Definitely my strangest purchase to date and definitely the most uneasy I have ever felt when collecting a package from a pick up point.

I had purchased the offending item from Ebay and had it delivered to an Argos store out of town. I had an agonizing wait as they tried to track down the package for me. For about ten minutes they were in the back room trying to find it and during that time I was fearing that they would appear with the package damaged and the panties hanging out for all to see!

Luckily for me the package wasn't damaged and neither was my reputation :whew!:
