I have been reading on and off The City and its Uncertain Walls by Haruki Murakami. He introduces a male character about one third of the way in who presents as male above the waist but wears colorful skirts and black tights. The character offers an explanation:
"One reason is that when I wear a skirt I, ah, feel like I've become a few lines from a beautiful poem."
Sounds about right here.

I've been wearing colorful skirts. My Golftini skirts are the prettiest. Not surprisingly they have only two small pockets on the right side.

".....I, ah, feel like I've become a few lines from a beautiful poem."
I know that feeling and it's lovely.
What wonderful way to describe the reason. I can?t agree more.

Totally agree. Along with hose, there?s nothing like slipping on a lined pencil skirt with full or half slip.
