So, I had to drop my motorcycle in the street and ended up in the ER. Lots of road rash on my arms but I'll be okay. In the ER, the doctor and about 6 nurses all saw my gold thong when I had to have my clothes removed to ensure they knew of all my injuries.

Three days later I'm in the burn and wound center for Skin Grafts. I was again told to remove all my clothing for surgery under general anesthesia - Burgundy bikini exposed. I don't have any male underwear to put on. Nobody said a word either time. Including my wife.

The bike was toasted and already in the salvage yard.

I'm glad you're okay, and so sorry about your bike.

Next time, I'd suggest something lacey, maybe a cheekie - something sexy. Got to keep them interested, right? :)

My last two surgeries, I was in my women's black silk panties. I am sure they had to have been seen, due to the way I had to be positioned for the procedures, but no comments, have ever been said. I always try to be discreate in exposing anything, but I am sure I am not the only one wearing panties. The wife knows I wear panties, and even helps buy them for me, so wearing panties and a bra, are my everyday wear.

I'm glad you're fine, but I'm sorry for your bike.

Anyway as mentioned in Cynthia's thread, when she fell off of stairs doctors and nurses saw wilder stuff especially at ER, so a man wearing ladies underwear isn't even worth mentioning.

Sorry about your fall and bike . Get well soon
Re- the panties
But it’s probably an every day occurrence for the medical staff and only a big deal to you .

I hope you heal quickly. The bike can be replaced. Absolutely no one's cares what you are wearing. They all just want to help you get better.

This experience will definitely help you realize this.

As long as you will be ok in the end. That is all that matters

Sorry to hear about your bike, and glad to know you are going to be okay

Doctors and nurses probably have seen it all while on the job, and they need to be professional so need to worry about them.

I read Di's comment above as your fall is an everyday occurrence... had to reread it and I get it now! :)

Ditto on the glad you're ok, bummer about the bike, and next appointment wear something lacey!

Yes, sorry to hear of your motorcycle and glad your injuries weren?t worse. A good friend wasn?t so lucky. A Dr. friend of mine told me during his internship in the emergency room, you name it, he saw it. I?ve always contended there?s a lot more underdressing going on than suspected. To him, Ho Hum. Get well soon.

Sorry about the bike and your injuries. But look at the bright side. With insurance money, you can go shopping for new panties and a new bike to match them!

Good thought Shelby. I go back tomorrow. I'll wear some with lace in the cheeks and a keyhole at the top in the back. I love it !

I am certain you are right.

Shiney, my wife knows I ONLY have panties in my dresser. She sees them in the laundry (and does my laundry) but she won't buy them for me. She says I have too many. I expect another order of 9 pair today from Amazon.

Raychel You're right. Had I known, I do have prettier thongs I could have worn.

Kim, I'll be fine. This is just a bump in the road - no pun intended.

Roxy, I have several panties and thongs that are much prettier and more feminine that I should have been wearing. I'll be wearing those when I go back tomorrow. From you queue, I think I should go through my dresser and upgrade some of my lingerie and get rid of some that are ho-hum. I do have nine new pair arriving tomorrow.

Lacey that is funny. My bike was a 1996 Goldwing. I have long known the insurance company wouldn't give me anything for it. While it would have still have value on Bike Trader, it rally didn't have a blue-book value anymore.

The tow company charged me $200 for the tow, and $150 to clean-up the road. The salvage company gave me $48.70 for the 880 pounds of aggregate material.

If you were in for skin grafts, that was some nasty road rash!

I remember in my youthful motorcycle racing days there was a popular bumper sticker in the pits: "PAIN HURTS"

But nothing in all that racing scared me as much as walking out the door in a dress for the first time.:nailbiting:

Karen, I hope you recover quickly. I ended up in the ER wearing panties that the nurse saw. It happens.

A couple years ago, I got dehydrated at the start of the summer and knew I needed medical attention. I left work and stopped by my house to take off my bra. I knew they would put the electrodes on me to monitor my heart at the ER. I was correct, but didn't think about the marks that the band would leave around my torso below my breasts. One of the nurses either didn't notice it or she didn't act like she did. Another one did and she asked about the marks. I admitted that I wear a bra. Her reply, "And you should". That was a very affirmative answer for me.

I've been in two motorcycle accidents and a serious car accident and the last thing I thought or cared about after any of them was the fact that someone saw my panties or bra on the occasion I had one on in one of the bike accidents.

Gallows humor is good to have and is pretty much a requirement if you ride, but the pain involved with cleaning the wounds up, the follow up cleanups and physical therapy involved after an accident bad enough to take skin or cause damage ... I have to agree with Carla, the math isn't quite mathing ...

I hope you remembered your mum's advice before going out, and put on a clean pair if underwear "in case you are involved in an accident"

Generally, staff members in a hospital are not bothered by what kind of underwear you have got on, as long as it is clean !

Being a biker myself, shame to hear about the bike, but you are okay and that is what we hope for
I am like you in that I don't have male underwear anymore and haven't for years, I am happy to hear that there was no adverse reaction from the staff, I have often wondered what, if anything, might be said

The old adage, when a tree falls in the forest and no one's there to hear it, does it still make a sound? Comes to mind. It's not relevant, whether it makes a sound or not. The point is, nobody's there so nobody cares.

If you were in front of your house when this accident occurred and your neighbor helped scrape you off the ground, maybe this would hit home a little more. Maybe if you're in some small town where the doctor who helped fix you up and maybe some of the nurses all go to your same church and you have to see them every sunday.

You have to ask yourself, how has revealing my underwear changed my life? I would be more concerned that it was clean. :-)

Sorry to hear about your crash. I ride as well, and was in a crash a couple of years ago - ended up with a broken tooth, bruised ribs, and some decent road rash. However, despite the condition I was in, I rode my mangled bike back home and changed into male underwear before heading to the ER. Even though I was covered in blood and in a lot of pain, I wasn't going to take a chance on the hospital staff seeing me in panties. During treatment, I did have to drop my pants for them to give me a tetanus shot, so I guess it was a good thing I got changed after all.

Karen, Glad you're on the mend, but sorry to hear about the bike. I ride all the time, and one's head needs to be on a swivel these days to avoid trouble! When I grab my panties in the morning, it always occurs to me I may not be the only one seeing them; so, I choose wisely!

Medical staff aren't shocked by these things. And for a very simple reason: actually, all non-crossdressing males routinely wear panties or thongs. Only crossdressers do not know that, because an unwritten law has the whole society very carefully concealing this fact from crossdressers so they can still write posts about flashing their female undies to health professionals that are seeing nothing out of the ordinary.

Sorry about your bike. I had to sell mine after partially losing my sense of balance due to a bad ear infection.

All I wear is panties. My dermatologist sees me in panties every 3 months during my full body scans. She says nothing about it.
I was getting injections at the weight loss clinic every week. One of the girls there told me I always had the cutest underwear.
I only wear "pretty" panties, just in case I'm seen. I like to feel pretty.
