Spotted wearing my purse

Ok, first not a big deal at all really. I don?t mean to make a mountain out of a molehill.

I have been using a unisex bag in black. Crossbody in black nylon. Not very feminine at all. My wife hates it and I don?t wear it with family around per her request. I?m in drab mode, wearing woman?s jeans, but I don?t think anyone can tell, despite what my wife says.

But yesterday I was walking out of a store and who is coming across the parking lot towards me, but my brother. We talked for a while and I was a little thankful I was not using one of my more feminine purses which I like to do. Of course nothing was said and all was well, but I wonder what he thought. As stated it is listed as a unisex bag, but I hardly see men ever even with these, so a bit different. Maybe didn?t even register with him. After all, I am turning into an eccentric old coot.

Bound to happen sooner or later. Wait til he sees me with my tan purse with all the little tassels.

I tried switching to women's jeans decades ago because of their sexy fit. But, the pockets r useless. Which would require carrying a purse for my many keys and thick wallet.:sad:

Crossbodies are ideal. Here there are many men who wear purses daily, especially the tech nerds.

I have a cross body that I use everyday. No one comments, but I have seen some cashiers give me a look when I am digging out change in the lower reaches. I usually make a comment about how I know there is one more penny down there?

However meeting a sibling is different.if a comment is made, just own it and make the discussion stop right there.
