Embarrassing emails

I once emailed a tg friend I'd met in a chat room. I discussed some cd stuff, including something about wedding gowns. The only trouble was...I sent it to the wrong "Jane Doe", like, jane.doe, instead of jane_doe.

Back came an angry confused reply a few days later:eek: ."Who are you, and what the blankety blank is this stuff all about???" Hoo, a contrite apology, and fortunately that was the end of it.

Anyone else done the same kind of thing?

never done that, or fear that.. however, i do sometimes fear copying a 'tg' link and pasting it into an IM chat window to someone I know, and have them go 'what the hell did u just send me?".. i did once share my drive, and had a friend discover my 'she-male' pics folder. he didn't get a good view of what it was looking at thumbnails, but i'm sure he went back later when the wife wasn't around and looked at them more carefully.
