so it happened about a month ago,
going to work on usual route.
been going this way about 4 years now though i drive a newer model car nowadays
their is a police station and an elementary school on this road but ive never seen a speed trap and always thought one would be there.
so ive seen an unmarked car a fee time recently but the speed limit is 45 mph.
well i saw this vehicle again and was going about fifty and thought nothing of it but further down the road near the station is a traffic light and lo and behold they pull up with the lights lit up and get behind me so i maneuver to the right at the signal and so does the officer so i precede though the light and pull over to the shoulder and they pull up behind me after ive crossed the traffic signal.
oh did i mention on my longer rides i like to drive with my platform high heels on and swap them out before i go in to do my tasks for work....
347765
these are the exact pair i had on, just replaced ones that were too worn.
so a younger patrolman approached my car from the passenger side and asked for my papers which i waited to retrieve so no undo movement as he moved in.
didnt dare remove the shoes either, typical convo where you headed....do you know why....53in a 35....went to the back of his vehicle and never went in.
so he comes back and tells me to slow it down and let me off with the warning.
so its a cop.....trained to observe....did he not see my feet....i doubt that....are they on team CD....never know.
so after i gathered myself and get to work and change as i normally do
i shared my escapade leaving the footwear part out and repeatedly folks were amazed they let me go. not theyre reputation.
oh because i approached work from a different route i saw o wiggery across the highway that i had not noticed and made my way back to at the end of the day.
go figure....

Kudos to you for being able to drive in heels like that. I max out at 3" block heels -- even my 5" wedges are too much for my old feet.

I would have been so red faced and stammering he would have pulled me out for field sobriety. Nice going keeping your cool, Mykell

I impressed you can drive with those heel. I believe the highest I ever drove with were 3" and I drove with the heel flat to the mat and ruin the back of the shoes. I could not imagine myself driving in those. Great that you didn't get a ticket that was nice of the officer.

I love to wear heels, but apart from road safety issues, I've had bad experiences.
The first time I dared to wear 7 denier sheer barely black stockings, I laddered them getting in and then scraped the car door getting out.
Noisy clicky heels are so sexy and attractive, but not with ripped sheer tights.

I'm confused Mykell. Is it illegal to drive in hi heels? I drive in hi spikes all the time. the only reason I don't drive in platforms is because walking in them is dangerous for me!

So did the cop notice you were wearing heels? Sounds like even if he did, he did not care. Good for him and good for you.

Mykell, I hope you laid down a small towel on the floor mat to protect those cute heels from any scuffing. I remember during my business travels fearing being pulled over by law enforcement the funny thing is after a couple years of driving dolled up sometimes over two hundred miles I actually thought it would be a nice experience to explain to a cop that Im a crossdresser lucky it never happened.

just tossed a pair of nine west 1/4 inch platforms, only wore them when driving, something about seeing toe cleavage while driving makes me happy.
i never mentioned that im not out at work so their is that.....dude wearing stripper heels while driving.....and i found a new wig shop and they were so kool,
sacrificial shoes as i wouldn't trust a towel by the car pedals....have a nicer pair with a concealed platform

Some years ago I had a similar experience, while wearing over 4" patent pumps. If you're speeding and spot the police too late, you know you're toast! After he asked for the obligatory license and registration, I could see him glance in my truck. I expected him to ask me to exit the vehicle while he checked my info, but it was a busy traffic day, and I was let off with a warning. I still love to wear heels while driving.

Does driving in those heels take some extra skill? I have driven with smaller heels a few times and know that it took a little bit of an adjustment, and loved it.

Just wait 'til you get pulled over when you're fully en femme!
Happened to me recently, at night. OMG, their white light thingy is BRIGHT!
The officer was totally professional the entire time.
And yes, he let me off with just a verbal warning. :battingeyelashes:
Only other time that happened was like 25 years ago -- with the same result.
I'm starting to see a pattern here. :heehee:

This thread got me looking up the laws on this and it turns out it is legal to drive in either High Heels or barefoot in all 50 states. So we girls have options.
Coincidentally, I found out that in my state, Massachusetts it is illegal to "look inside a vehicle to violate the privacy of the occupants." So, good news for the in car makeover folks.:heehee:

I've driven in 2 1/2" heels before, I felt pretty safe, but not as safe as driving barefoot. As April said, neither is illegal. If you're driving in something ridiculous like 6" heels, it's probably not illegal, but is it safe? As someone who spends a LOT of time on the interstate, I'd prefer if you slipped them off and drove in your stockings, I'd really like to not die.

Hi MyKell,
Love the heels, congrats on being able to drive in them, I'd love to be able to do that, I have a similar pair, tried driving in them once, didn't get very far as felt unsafe for me. Regards getting pulled up, it's not illegal to drive in heels, women do it all the time.

Many years ago I was puled over for failure to stop at a stop sign. No it was not a rolling stop. Since I could see a long ways up the road I hardly slowed down to make a right hand turn. As I cleared the intersection I saw the Deputy's car on the shoulder and as I passed it the lights came on and I pulled over.
I was a tad bit nervous since I was wearing a full corset with garters attached, stockings, panties and just a shirt over the corset. Oh yea I also had in 4 inch black heels. I quickly buttoned up the shirt to hide what I had on under it. The female deputy approached the car and politely asked for my paper work and why I had blown thru the stop sign. I asked if stupidity would help me out to witch she replied no. She kept asking me if there was a problem and finally went back to her vehicle. It was another 5 minutes before she returned and handed me my paper work plus a $55 dollar ticket for failure to stop at a stop sign.
Again she asked me if I had a problem since I seemed to be in such a hurry. Again I said no. She told to be more careful and to slow down. The whole time she had been very professional but on the slightly stern side. As she stepped away from my window she smiled and said by the way you have nice legs and you don't see stockings and garters very much anymore!!!! I then looked down and saw my stocking tops, bare thigh and garter straps were plainly in view the whole time she was beside my window.

The last time I was pulled over I was presenting fully female. No problem at all! Not a bucket list item for sure but something new to add to my list of crossdressing experiences lol!

You are such a pretty girl, I'm surprised that the cop didn't ask for your phone number.
