Hi. I would like to tell you a bit about my style of dressing up. I am kind of guessing some of you could be CD'ing similarly.
Firstly, I wanna say that I never CD at home, but outdoors, USUALLY, I am in 'limited dressing up' mode. For instance, I never wear a dress or a skirt or stilettos. The only makeup I go for is some lipstick every now and then. But, I almost always go for short shorts. Depending on the place and my courage level, sometimes very short ones :) I like showing off my legs, which are my best asset :) Also, I really have gotten used to the comfort of wearing short shorts. When I wear pants, I usually feel quite uncomfortable. Now, some might say wearing shorts is not CD'ing. But, as you know, things have changed since the 80's. Since then, men almost always go for long shorts, usually at least knee level. Gosh, I really don't like to wear such shorts.
Anyway, between April and November, I almost always go for short shorts, with no stockings or socks. I love wearing flipflops. I almost always wear those (and every now and then sports shoes with ankle socks). Also, an ankle bracelet on each ankle and a toering on each middle toe are like a must for me in that period :) As for the top, I just wear a regular t-shirt.
Between December and March, since it gets cold, I still wear short shorts but with stockings :) In that period, since I cannot wear flipflops with stockings, I go for sports shoes or quite feminine boots. I have my favorite one. A pair of knee-level black boots with low and comfy heels. I just cannot walk with any heel higher than 3-4 cm. I guess that is my most womanlike attire. And, for the top, a t-shirt and a jacket. I mean, short shorts, stockings and knee-level boots. It had taken me quite an effort to have the courage to wear that combo :)
Oh, and I used to have my fingernails painted (never managed to do it well on my own, hehe) 10 different colors, but I haven't gone for that for quite many years now.
Does any of you, at least sometimes, dress up like that outdoors ?
