Taking It A Step Farther Everyday

I'm sick of hiding who I am or what I am, I shave my legs regularly almost everyday and have no intention to quit for the summer. If I'm gonna wear shorts and its cool I'm gonna wear hose too. They are gonna notice the shaved legs so why not come out already.

I have become brave and have no inhibitions about buying clothes in the store anymore, and when I go on vacation i'm gonna hang out in TV bars and dress as a women for Halloween. To some of you this my seem like no big deal because you are already there, but for me these are crucial steps a little at a time.

I feel the same way as you do, I have yet to dress for Halloween. I take a little step every so offten and when I look back I have come so far. May be this is the year to dress for Halloween.

Most people will see what they expect to see unless you call undo attention to yourself. If they see a feminine outfit, they think woman and just continue on their way. If someone looks at you longer than just a passing glance, smile at them and keep doing what you were doing.

It is seldom personal anymore. No one stops to talk unless they know each other. No one seems to care what goes on about them as long as it doesn't
interfere with them.

Example: A TV station did a mock kidnapping. A little girl was approached by a man and was grabbed by the arm. She was screaming that he wasn't her father and was yelling for help. Can you believe that no one stopped. Most just put their heads down and kept going. Only a little boy noticed but his father took his hand and kept going.

Actually, we can use this to our advantage when we dress and go out.

I saw that report too, how saddening that was :( It does reinforce that most people will avoid confrontation at all costs, though... everything has pros and cons I guess!
