hi-i'm jo-made the decision(finally)to make cd an established and permanent part of my life--but it seems decisions without action become yesterdays promises--i've posted a pic--the top/stockings are from a chain store(which i'm more than happy with)the skirt and shoes from a charity op shop(which i'm also more than happy with) --at my ripe old age i'm making lots of changes-one of the big ones was to leave a management job(govt)-4yrs ago and enroll in a nuursing degree at uni(just to wear the uniform!)-finish that in a few mths-god willing-but being a student/part time worker --i'm following a dream but it dont come gold plated---the meaning to all this? introducing myself i guess and...are there any sites/forums/collectives where i can access clothes--i'm not really large have smallish feet ..at a reasonable price-secondhand--hand me downs? i'm not confident enough yet to stroll into a boutique and brouse through the racks! still put the bolt on the front door at home----but it feels right--little steps huh----thanks girls xxxx jo

hopefully i can work out how to upload my pics xx

Welcome, I'm pretty new here myself. Glad to have another girl on board. I don't know about the second-hand and all that, but I'm sure a bit of googling will turn something up.

Souns like you're living your dream, I'm happy for you. Good Luck.

welcome to the neighbourhood! E-bay is good, although you have to ALWAYS check the shipping costs, especially to down-under (I 'won' a nice pair of women's joggers for $1.29US, only to realize that the shipping costs were $54.00!!).
Besides the sources you mentioned, I have found liquidation-type sellers to be worth a look. Interesting, I bought pair of shoes on e-Bay for $5.00, and they had a $2.99 Liquidation World sticker in them. It's ok, they fit and they are what I was looking for, and I didn't see them at the liquidation world here. good luck and welcome again! wenda.

I have no problem making a straight forward purchase at a department store (or, at times, even specialist lingerie shops), but I find that ebay opens up those 'harder to find' items.

I saw this one, and decided I just had to have it:
ebay item 8143186273

Try buying that from Target!!
