View Full Version : When the waxing wears off....

Hi Girls,

Time for advice again. I appreciate that this is largely outside GG's experience and therefore they may not be able to comment - although experience dictates that they'll have a view anyway (good for them  ) - since it's mainly about chest waxing (and I haven't met a GG yet who needs that!)

Having had a full body wax, it doesn't take that long for the hair to start growing back. It doesn't look too bad on my arms and legs but chest hair is so obvious. So the question is, should I shave my chest in the meantime? I can probably stop shaving a week before my next wax and they'll be enough hair to wax anyway. When you have your legs waxed do you just let the hair grow out until the next wax or keep it at bay with the razor? I'd be grateful of some pointers in this area - outside my experience - :cheeky:

Thanks in advance

Em

Hi Emma,

the wax needs about 1/4" of hair to grab on to, so you should be fine waiting a week.

Q back at ya:p: Is your chest a sensitive area? All I can do is shave there with an electric - if I use a blade or any method of plucking I get big breakouts of ingrowns! It's the most painful part on my body for that kind of thing too....

Hi Alayna,

My chest was fine being waxed - the back of my neck and shoulders really caned though! I've also had problems since with the outside of my thighs which don't like men's trousers - so I just have to wear skirts - :D
