I know that not everyone has an understanding SO…….Grrrrrrrrrrr Lucky girls….

So for the rest of us, where do you hide your fem clothing?

Come on!!! I’m not going to tell anyone …….else…….again!!!

Here is one of mine….I built secret compartments into both the bathroom cabinets. There is a lot of wasted space under there that I reclaimed for Karren’s private use. Two places were easiest were behind the kick plate and above the drawers. I took off the kick plate and added magnetic locks on both sides.. It pops off with a little bit of pressure but not so easily to fall off when bumped. Above the drawers in the same cavity as the sink, I glued a false floor made of thin luan and added a partition with magnetic locks on it also to separate the sink area from the newly created storage area. See the attached photo which I have enhanced.

An engineered solution which worked great!! With both bathroom cabinets done, I had my choice of where I wanted to dress. Even had different styles of clothing, shoes, hair, jewelry and makeup in each one!! Kind of a theme thing!!! LOL And if you don’t believe me just look at my 2005 photo albums…..the earlier ones, up until the time my wife found out!!! Then I lost all bathroom privileges. <sigh>

Hmmmmm I should be selling these plans but today and today only I’m having a blue light special!!! Hehehehe

So belly up to the sink girls and share your secrets!!!!!!

Love Karren

Karen,

I too use the cabinet below my sink for a newly purchased wig. My wife is not ready to see me en femme yet, but sees my clothes in the closet. She recently installed a keyed lock on our bedroom door to prevent any intrusion by our teenager.

I am impressed by your inginuity and use of space. who knows...maybe this will be a step toward understanding when your wife sees how resourceful you are.

Best of luck,

Colleen

Karen,

am impressed with your ingenuity, if I was with someone, I would have to think of something. You should sell the plans and the instructions, you'd make a fortune.

Reminds me of one of my early hiding places. I built some fitted wardrobes and arranged it so that the entire floor of the wardrobe hinged up and gave me a nice roomy space for my stuff. That secret compartment was there when we left that house. I still wonder if anyone discovered it.

In our current house we have a whole secret room. The door to this room can easily be mistaken for an ornamental feature supporting some shelves. There are no windows and no outward signs that the room exists. I don't use it for CD purposes now. Since I 'fessed up a few years back I put my clothes in my wardrobe.

Karren -- Did your wife discover your secret places or did she discover about you in some other manner? If the latter, did you then confess to the secret sink spaces? With my luck I'd have a plumbing problem and all my stash would have been ruined.

Mine are hidden in the toolbox on my pick up which is locked and only I've got the keys to it. You know one of those big toolboxes that mounts on the bed rails when she's with me and I need to open it I tell her that i've hidden gifts for her in there and ask her to please step away so she can't see them but only I know the real reason for asking her to walk away so she doesn't see all my beautiful clothes and get jelouse of my thing being nicer than hers which they are of course

I don't have the intelligence to build a secret space, so I put my "goodies" in an old xerox paper box and let it sit on a shelf in my basement along with about four others. Hidden in plain sight. Another place I have is in the garage. More boxes of items and one in "paticular"
My little stash of makeup that I'm begining to accumulate is in the downstairs bathroom towel closet, on the top shelf in the back. I'm the only one tall enough to reach in that area.

Well Karren, I just don't hide my stuff any more due to my situation but here's what I used to do. Hid it in the attic, in the closet behind other stuff, under my bottom dresser drawer, under floorboards, behind movable paneling, in my wardrobe under my unseasonable clothes. I thought I was pretty tricky but my wife must have had a CD "sniffer" as she always managed to find it. I finally just gave up and stopped hiding it and then it was left alone. To this day, I think she must have had a hidden camera. Take care, Ericka

I left a couple skirts on the floor of my closet and was in Ohio working enfemme for the day when she discovered them and called me!! Story is posed, check my Sept or Oct posts. She never did find the secret hiding places until after i removed everything. Guess she wondered why I kept getting up at night with an upset stomach and put 2 and 2 together...hehehe

Guess dressing every 2 or 3 days in the bathroom, at 1 to 3 am, 10 feet from my sleeping wife was pushingit a tad????? LOL

In computer cases. I am a computer tech by trade, so I have a lot of machines laying around. I have gutted two of these computers, (removed the motherboard, etc.) and have my items stored in there and screwed shut. Nobody would ever suspect there's high heeled shoes and panty hose inside a computer case! Would you??

I used to just keep mine in my van. I had a Chevy 2500 loaded with shelving. Had it all sorted out, box for shoes, box for skirts etc. Now I just put it all in my closet. I'm running out of room though and I really don't want to give any of it away.

I don't hide my stuff anymore, but once upon a time, I was hiding it out in a cabinet, out in the garage, but that's when I basically only had a few articles of clothing. A couple of dresses, panty hose, one pair of basic black strappy heels, and 'halloween costume' wig. The box moved from there, to the bottom side of my side of the closet in another house we moved into. That's where the wife found the 'stash', and I had some explaining to do.

Now-a-days, I've invested far too much money and quanitity to 'hide' it anymore. I have the "left side" of a 8' long full closet, with a shelf above. The right side is for the 'male/drab' clothes. One built in cabinet drawer, (breast pals and wigs are stored in there) and the bottom two drawers of a six drawer dresser.

I think I'm just going to have to take pictures some day.

This is a repost from earlier this year:

I only had to hide stuff was I was living at home.

One place was on top of the tiles of the drop ceiling in the basement. My bedroom was there for a number of years - kind of like a little apartment. That was a pretty good hiding place.

Another place was inside my stereo speakers. They had 10" ot 12" woofers, so I'd undo the screws holding them in and use the space inside to stash panties, leotards and a purse. Also a good hiding place.

When I went to university, I still lived at home. I 'hid' my panties in my dresser under my 'boy' underware. Worked fine until the day my mom came up to put some clothes away. I found my panties folded differently that I usually folded them. No one said anything about it, but I knew I was busted.

Obviously, not quite as good a hiding place as the others. :o

Donna

Storage locker. I hated having all my stuff boxed away, getting all rumpled and squished. I keep enough clothes for an impromptu dressup session (plus one wig) in a gym bag in my studio. The bag is locked and my wife is not the nosy type anyway.

Oh man what a sad bunch we are. All credit for creativity and invention but it is a shame when we are all essentially secret drug takers because we have to be. (Actually I don't because I live alone..yeah me!!!)

And yet this will be read by some GGs thinking. "Oh they are all so untrustworthy and sneaky! See, I knew I couldn't trust him!".

Yeah, We could all be master spies if we wanted to. Seeing as all the pains we go to to keep our identities a secret and what quick change artists we are. The government is definately missing out on this talent. Tried to tell 'em that. Oh well, we have our own "spies" as well. One of my femm girlfriends works for the CIA and has a Top Secret clearance for intelligence. Go figure! Take care, Ericka

This GG read this thread and at first was laughing out loud at the creativity you girls have!

Then I stopped laughing and thought how sad that you have to be so creative in order to protect your right to be who you are.

When my husband and I moved in together, Trudi "lived" in two locked trunks.
He even joked that once when male friends were helping him move, they asked "what do you have in these trunks, a dead body?" He said "if only they knew".

My first order was that Trudi move out of those trunks and into the closet with me and "him". Second order was NO MORE PURGING!

Being the good girl that she is, Trudi has followed those orders quite nicely. <grin>

I'm really happy for Trudi, wish it could be that way for everyone....<sigh>

I have a basement under part of the house and then crawl space under the rest of house. i put most of my stuff in the crawl space and I store full change(panties, pantyhose, dress and highheels )in my business office so when I have a chance to I dress in my office early in the morning sometimes. Used to hide all my stuff but, now that everything's out in the open with my wife, I just have to hide it from my kids when they're expected at home. Then, it's basically hidden in plain sight in a separate hall closet on a back rack and in a large suitcase in the attic.

Well Karren, I remember those days but that has been over 20 years and
a fairly sugnificant wardrobe containing everything. As I recall, I had everything carefully hidden so only I would find it. Nowadays, I can't
find anything. Go figure!

I used to have to hide my stuff when i lived at home with my parents... I had several hiding spots, One was behind a chest of drawers and i had to much so i had to stack up my car model boxes in front of them.
Shoes boxes, i labelled them with magazine titles and dates..
The very back of the wardrobe
Under my bed
In my cricket gear bag
In my spare cricket gear bag
In the boot of my car..

Then when i moved to my own house i had to start moving Rachel's clothes out to my car a week before and hope i didn't need to get anything out.
At first my wife was dead set against my crossdressing but has since calmed down and now encourages me at times.
I just recently bought a clothes rack that i've filled with my clothes and it is in the middle of our bedroom. I only have to move it into the ensuite now when people come over.

I guess i'm one of the lucky ones.

Karren, what creativity engineers have! So far I am blessed with a SO that doesn't go into my drawers or my closet - we have separate meatching walk in closets - at least so far - so I have Jillian pretty well organized in my dresser and closet~in the closet~LOL LOL LOL! I do let her into my panty drawer, she does most of the laundry and can really fold my panties better than me. It does help that we both shave and have our ears pierced and prefer similar panties, although some of mine are much sexier!

For a long time, I lived alone, so I didn't have to hide my femme stuff.

Now that i'm temporarily staying with my Dad, I have my femme clothes in a storage carton that is used by furniture removalists. My makeup, skincare and fragrances are in plastic bags which are openly placed on top of the spare bed. My Dad never goes into that room anyway (I hope), so it's ok. Even if he did discover them, i'd just say they were the ex wife's and I hadn't thrown them out because of sentimental reasons.

When I get my own accomodation, I will simply place my femme clothes in the closet and drawers as normal.

Hiding always seemed kinda cowardly to me. It is typically what one does when one is ashamed of something they are doing. It's nothing less than concealing who you really are.

Personally, I've never felt the need to hide.
