Excessive Shopping?

I have 3 pairs of breast forms (don't use any now), 12 wigs, 10 black skirts, 3 winter coats, 7 corsets, 6 sweaters to wear instead of coats for when it's not cold, and about 50 bras. And 2 boxes the size of copy paper boxes full of makeup.
Anybody else shop too much?

Honey, I think that's excessive. You need to put yourself on a budget!

I, too, was tempted to buy too many things after I came out to my wife and could have my own clothing. I limit myself by not spending more on fem clothing than I do on male clothing. The up-side of this is that it encourages me to keep my drab wardrobe a little less so, and my wife is happy to see me taking better care of my appearance in drab. She doesn't care much about the other side.

2 bottles of hairspray my salon lady sold me
2 cheongsams i cannot wear and 2 vinyl camis and a lycra cami which rolls up on me so i hate it

I have to be able to fit everything in to the rubbermaid that it lives in in my locker. That's a good way of restricting my shopping!

there can be no excess when it comes to shopping - things are there to be bought and girly things MUST be bought - thats what they're there for :p

i think that is why the ladies dept. is 3 times the size of the mens dept. ladies like to shop. i have purged all my stuff now i am back buying wa=what a cycle i live. but it sure is fun. i love to buy the little frillies .

You could always sell some of the things you don't use any more. I now understand why my ex wife had a house full of clothes, while I had 1/4 of a closet.

Three dresses
Four skirts
One suit skirt
Four blouses
Two bras
Two bodysuits


Sounds pretty reasonable now that I look at others! Maybe I need to go shopping!

Thank goodness I live with a makeup artist. I have a lifetime supply. and I really only have about 5 outfits, 1 wig and 2 pairs of shoes. I wanted to get a couple of wigs, but she has the final say in all purchases, as a professional, if she says not that wig i listen. but I'm sure I'll get another soon. And now that you mention it, only 5 outfits... I think I need to go shopping!
Oh wait... i do have about 35 pairs of panties, and cute little tops... thats typically what i wear around the house for cleaning and such. But I'm still going stoping. And I dare one of you to stand in my way!

When I first started to live by myself 6 years ago, I did way too much indiscriminate shopping. I have now become much more discriminating on what I buy. It must match what I have and be functional for the wardrobe. Shoes are another story. I still buy way too many shoes.
