Feeling like a million dollars.....

You know those threads that mention what you are wearing....right now...well, I admit it, they bore me. Each to their own, but it's just not me. However, having dossed around in jeans all day, just about, this evening I threw on some sexy lingerie, stockings and a dress and I just feel fantastic. No makeup but I just feel great.

Now to try to avoid this being one of those "I'm wearing this tonight" threads, I'll just say that I am beginning to understand why women sometimes say that they feel like a million dollars and make that the subject of this thread. I know I'll get there one day!

Hi EM,, You don't have to be dressed to the "nines" to feel good. Some gals think they do but I personally don't have to. I'm just content with the feeling of being who I want to be when I want to. Most of the time when I post on here, I'm wearing jeans, PJ's, shorts or a bathrobe or whatever. The important thing is being comfortable that's for sure. Take care, Ericka

I really hope this doesn't get away from the spirit of the thread but I know what you mean about feeling like a million dollars. I ordered some polo shirts and pants recently and they came in Friday. Now, a polo shirt and dockers are what I wear when I want to look good as a guy. I wear dress shirts and ties as infrequently as possible. That's probably why dresses and skirts look great but feel a bit too dressed up.

I was wearing my breastforms but not my wig since I had two shirts I was trying. I put on the first shirt and the first pair of pants and looked in the mirror. That was it! Finally, that was me in the mirror. I wanted to put on my wig and flats and walk out the door. Fortunately the rational part of my mind piped up and said, "Uh, you're still in the closet. This probably isn't the best way to tell people."

But God, what a feeling that was. Comfortable, confident, looking great. Like a million dollars.
