Went to a High School musical last night and it was fairly ho hum until this one number when 20 girls ripped of their dresses to expose short black slips, black thigh high stockings and black garter belts. All were wearing black heals!!! WOW, things sure have changed since I went to school!!! LOL I now own the exact same lingerie!!! So I was setting there wishing I was up there, in my lingerie, in the middle of the chorus!!! One of the Dolls!!! Is it me or has anyone else had these types of day dreams? If so, what were they and where were you at the time?

Love Karren

I find my daydreams are now on here and seeing the gals like yourself Karren, or Cindy or Marla having a good night out.
I sometimes think I've had my heydays and it's time for me to just relax in life and share everyone here's good times. That's fine for me.

Hi Karren, Don't know if I mentioned this or not but the owner of the GLBT club I go to wanted me to be in the Xmas show last year. I wasn't sure I wanted to do it, since I'm an all-american CD and not a DQ. After pondering it, I accepted. The next problem was what song to do. My friend is a DJ and I asked her for suggestions. She down loaded a bunch of Christmas songs for me on a CD and I listened to them. The one I picked was "Walkin' round in women's underwear" to the tune of "Walking in a winter wonderland".I came out with my robe on and started singing. At just the right moment, I whipped off the robe and was there singing and dancing in my bra, panties, panty hose and heels. The audience loved it (I even got tips). I wasn't really nervous as I dance there as Ericka every weekend and I'm just a plain "ham" anyway. The main reason I did it was to show my CD sisters just how confident you can be as your femme self if you work on it. I performed again at a benefit for a local GLBT Church a month later. That time I did two numbers and had a lot of fun. I haven't performed since but still have fun dancing as Ericka every weekend. That cute little number in the black outfits sounds great. Something I would enjoy doing for sure. Maybe we could get together and come up with our own show. C'mon I don't have to coax you do I? Take care, Ericka

"Guys and Dolls" was a pretty funny Broadway play back in the day. If I'm not mistaken, Marlon Brando played in it.

Thanks Gals but I'm happy here . Really.
And I don't drive cars, just a motorcycle and not too conducive to going out as Winter approacheth.
But another daydream is to be back with "J" (pic below) and learning feminity and going out together as well as the staying in fun.
Now, what about other's daydreams.. ..

Indeed, where were those girls, or rather, those costumes, or rather, that lack of costumes, when I was going to high school???

Did you notice, also, how sweet and innocent -- ironically -- the lyrics of that song are?

"I thought that each expensive gift you'd arrange
was a token of your esteem,
but when I think of what you want in exchange
it all seems a horrible dream!
(eek!)"

I worked on stage crew for an adult production of G&D a couple years ago in a community theater, and I admit it was a lot of fun waiting backstage for the curtain to go up on the second act, which starts with this song. The chorus girls saw me as "old", "married" and "safe", almost as good as being "The Shadow" -- invisible.

I remember thinking at the time, OMG, I wish, oh, heavens do I wish, I could ever look like that! To quote another Broadway show (that I did a couple years before that):

"There is nothing like a dame,
Nothing in the world.
There is nothing you can name,
that is anything like a dame!"

Hugs,
Susie

I think the teenies today are really way out there when it comes to dress, and behavior. One needs to just be observant in malls and watch them, or overhear them, or, heaven forbid, check out the My Space website. I daresay when those dancers shed their clothes they still were covered more than one might see in the malls or elsewhere! One sure thing is no matter how I dress, and I do tend for the shorter skirts, etc, I can never be as ****ty looking as the young girls today!

Come on. I can't be the only gal here who has performed as my femme self. Anyone else done a show or even sing karaoke en femme? Would love to hear about it. Take care, Ericka

They're practically "doing it" right there on the dance floor.

My jaw drops every time I visit my son at college. Most of the girls are wearing jeans, but when they do wear a skirt, they're not leaving much to the imagination!

Ironiclly, as a High School Musical Director,I have choosen Guys and Dolls for the next Fall Musical. I also performed as Nathen Detroit many years ago. Our Costume Lady made rip away dresses that revealed the girls in black one piece swimsuits and black bloomers with pink ruffles. A few years later, I was borrowed a few costumes for our booth at a business show. One of the costumes was the Hot Box Dancer costume. Naturally, I tried it on - how cool.

As for ever appearing onstage or Kareoke. Well I posted my story back in January, but I'll try to give the shortened version. A group of us did a murder mystery theater show. We created the storyline ourselves and and we each had to select a karoke song. I decided to play a female, hence the avatar. I started to sing Shania Twain's "Man, I feel like a Woman," but the disc must have been scratched so I couldn't get very far in the song. I wasn't nervous about walking around the restuarant dressed enfem, but I was more concerned about the improv that we had to do. Since my character was designed to be a bit of a mystery a red herring in the story, I didn't have much to offer in the story. I did have fun messing with some people. Some men would either flirt with me, stare at me or ignore me. NAturally, I had fun messing with the ones who tried to ignore me.

Since I'm a pretty visible person around my communities and most people know I'm into theater, they either heard about this or seen the show. I've gotten tons of compliments about my look. I found that some girls were even turned on by my look - now that's really cool.

Hi Shelby, Thanks for sharing that. Actually the GLBT club I go to has an annual version of that mystery thing. You do look pretty good. As far as acting, I think all CD's are actors to one extent or the other. How else could a man make himself look like a convincing woman? I'm not a Marine but encourage all girls to "be all they can be", CD wise. If you feel you are ready to go out, sing, dance or perform, I say go for it. I did and always have a pretty good time being my femme self. Thanks again for sharing that with us. Ericka
