From todays paper
"Just when dress departments were on the verge of extinction the feminine look is making a comback.
Dresses in knit jersey, gauzy cotton and large prins are finding a new generation of wearers, sending dress sales upward after years in the doldrums.
'dresses are hot'"
Sounds good to me.

That is GREAT news! I can buy myself a nice 1950s style girly frock like my Mum used to wear in the summer when I was a kid! Whoopee!

Yeah!

Not a moment too soon.

My GF has been telling me that most GGs don't wear a dress unless it is a special or formal occasion and that in order to pass by blending in I should go with jeans. A dress on me would just be like a big blinking light that says "look at me, look at me!, can you see what's different about me."

Hurray for dresses back in fashion!

As far as I'm concerned , dresses were always "hot". But then again, I shop at Lane Bryant and Roaman's and they always have plenty of nice dresses. Take care, Ericka

I'm very happy that dresses are back!! I love to wear them, and I hope that this fashion trend continues and encourages more GGs to wear them more often too.

Dresses aren't hard to get Jay. Just know your size, pick out a pretty one, hand the sales person cash or a credit card and Ka'ching, it's yours babe. Then of course, you need the handbag to go with it, the shoes to go with the handbag, the matching jewelery and not to forget panties, bra, pantyhose, makeup, wig and perfume. Wow, that was a quick $500. Oh well, no one ever said it was cheap to be a woman. The problem is that CD's spend way more money on their femme stuff than their wives do( as my wife always so coyly pointed out), but that's okay since we're worth it. Ericka

That's very good news...

I hope this trend will propagate in Europe, and in particular in France...

For me, dresses never went out but I've always been "politically incorrect" anyway. :D I am, however, really glad that dresses and long hair are back in.

Hooray!!! I never wear anything but a dress or skirt enfemme. Truth is, I find dresses more comfortable to wear in any case --- if I could wear a dress anytime, I would for that reason alone (welll ....... I admit I love wearing dresses.......)

When I go to the club to dance, I always wear a dress. I'm usually the only one there wearing one unless some of my sisters are there because the gay gals sure in blazes don't wear them. That kind of makes me the center of attention on the dance floor but I don't do it intentionally (Yeah, Right!). I even see the gay guys peeking at me dancing when they think I'm not looking.Nothing beat a dress as it makes me feel totally free and feminine, a great feeling. Ericka

Thank God! I have always thought dresses were the ultimate feminine apparel! Can't wait to see the new styles and buy a few suitable designs.

Hey Gals, I know I'm blonde and everything, but I can't understand all this hub bub Unless maybe at one point in time, WE were the only ones wearing dresses? Oh well, I'm glad everone is happy about it in any case. Ericka
