View Full Version : Can You Cross Your Legs...

... under tables in a restaurant? Or in areas where there is not much space?

I have never been able to do so easily as my legs are reasonably long and with with 2" heels, my top knee can be too high to fit under a table when I cross my legs. Sometimes I slant my lower leg sideways which makes the top leg lower so it fits under a table. (This is what i'm doing at my computer desk right now).

Not that I've done this yet, but when sitting in lounge chairs at a social bar where everyone is close together, I think my crossed legs would be a little to intrusive to the limited space. I guess the best alternative is to keep the legs together - which is also a good look with the right skirt/heels.

Does anyone else have dramas fitting their crossed legs under tables or in confined spaces?

I am not that tall so no problem fitting small places. Sometimes if I am not careful I have hurt myself tho:cheeky:

I can't cross my legs no matter how much room there is
(just too fat I guess)

I can't because of bad knees.

Because of a recent illness, I've lost a substantial amount of weight (BTW, feeling a lot better now), and Voila! I can suddenly easily cross my legs. Amazing!

I have found being born male, my legs would naturally spread apart.
To counter this, I learnt to always sit on a lounge or sofa on one of my rumps, thereby having a slight lean and the legs staying together.
With more space available, I sit with my ankles crossed and this maintains femininity.
I can cross my legs but it makes them look muscley so I avoid it.

I can and do cross my legs under tables and everywhere else for that matter. Probably because I'm not too tall.

I can cross my legs, and an easy way is to extend them, cross them, and then bring them back to the vertical or even better an aslant position. But, I can no longer wrap them around each other as I once could, though after I lose weight I'm interested in seeing whether that too is still possible.

I've always felt I have inherited my Mom's legs and they were always gorgeous. I have no problem crossing especially when I'm properly tucked so there is enough room for everything. :D

They (the legs) look best with a skirt that just reaches the knees when standing. Crossed legs is just so feminine I love to sit that way.

I know what you mean. Many restaurants have low tables that don't allow that much space. I usually sit on the outside of a booth and cross my legs out toward the aisle. It allows my knee to clear the table and I also get to show off my toes, shoes and legs! Since my height doesn't show while sitting, that flash of leg makes me that much more convincing to the casual glances.

I have never had any problem at all crossing my legs. In fact, it feels normal and comfortable.

No problems with crossing, but I definitely have clearance issues under tables and desks. There I do the "knees primly together" thing...

no, I can't sit with my legs crossed. Instead of sitting like a man with my legs spread apart, I try to put my legs together and sweep them towards the side.:D

I can cross them but have issues under tables and desks so its legs together for me in a restaurant or other situation where there are tables.

Yes, I can but only for short periods at a time. After 15 or 20 minutes it gets too uncomfortable. Less if it is the right leg over the left leg.

That is just something I could never do.

I can cross them right over left and the back of my right knee will rest on the top of my left knee, but doing it the other way "left over right" my left knee doesn't quite touch my right knee and as a result the calf is squashed out flat looking way too fat.
Been practicing two things lately though. My computer desk is a hunk of junk and I can't properly cross my legs under it so I've been "sweeping" them to the left when sitting. The other thing I've found myself trying to remember is when driving to NOT spread my legs in a guy fashion but rather keep them somewhat together. All the while trying to imagine myself wearing a tight skirt.

You lucky person, you. I can easily cross my legs which are my best feature but would love to be able to wrap them but that will only ever be a dream.

I can cross my legs and can wrap my feet around my legs when crossed. When sitting at a table, I cross my legs at the ankles. Much more femme and lady like. Helps to keep the knees together. If I wish to cross my legs while at the table, I will slide my chair back before crossing them.

The pic of me is with 8 in heels, no prob !
