My GF saw me completely done up tonight

Well, I finally got up the nerve to dress up completely in front of my GF tonight. We had gone to the mall and I had mentioned that I wanted to get some MAC foundation at the Nordstroms but only if they weren't too busy (I was enhomme). She was ready to do it but I chickened out because it was relatively busy so we went home with some Yankee candles instead. I usually get the urge to dress up when we go shopping so I started getting all done up. She had seen me in makeup before but no wig. She walked in on my when I was working on my face and then headed downstairs to watch some TV. I then put on my wig was playing with it. She headed back upstairs and caught me in my wig. Her reaction was much better than I feared. I thought she would wig out (pun intended), but she didn't. She looked somewhat sad at first but when I assurred her that I still wanted to be with her, she cheered up and said that I was gorgeous! I almosted melted right there. She said later that "when I saw you, I didn't think that my boyfriend was pretty, I thought that girl looked beautiful". I almost cried when she said that. She seems ok with it and I am very happy. I was very nervous about this. :)

My only advice is that since she seems to have accepted you. Don't botch it up by ever lying to her. Now that your out keep everything on the up and up. Don't sneak around and try to hide things from her.
I have been totally up front with my wife for nearly 32 years and the only time I ever got in trouble was when I missrepresented things. I didn't lie I just didn't tell the whole truth.
