No certainly not. but their what is used to present an image of who you are at that time. I truely believe I am BI-Gender (not Bisexual) ie as much as I love being a man, and have the most wonderful life partner, children and a great life I'm very, very happy with.

Tracy is inside me every hour of the day, but that does not mean she has needs or I have wants for her to surface daily. but when she does, it a total change not just a wig, a dress, and make up. It's nice to step out of myself, dress in something pretty, look and smell nice, yet know I can go back to the person I like being most, ie ME (the male)

Yes it is both a mental, and a visual fantasy (to me anyway) which is why I like to look as fem as I possable can and will do anything non perminanty to add to the look. Being accepted with out question, because you look the part, act the part, and people are bewildered by the illusion of femininity, yet don't see the slight of hand (the male underneath) is what crossdressing is all about to me.

it a Magic act. an illusion, a stage act, only to a TV like me, the world is my stage to which I perform.

To me, it's about a lot of stuff that goes way beyond clothing, too. I'm not sure Dana's list applies to me totally, but surely there are elements in the list(s) that do. There is an entire feminine element to my personality that is squelched by societal norms that I can allow to live when I'm dressed. It's not the cliche "real me", but rather, part of me that's very real. If we walk around denying 1/2 of humanity about ourselves and to ourselves, we are not complete people. The feminine in me helps to complete me.
