oh boy oh girl ! i finally went into a public place dressed to the fullest purple/red skirt and light purple blouse, could see bra line on shirt, dress shoes and make up.it was fantastic ! i felt hesitant when i started walking in and worried that my pantyhose would possibly start to go down after walking so much .i wore my purse on my shoulder and started checking out slips, then picked one out and then found a bra that lifts and makes more cleavage.
i got so carried away i had to get a cart.noone said anything,i didn't get any looks and i checked out skirts, bought one and got a camois slip for bedtime. i walked and pushed the cart with my purse in it and checked out the make up got some nail polish that matched my blouse and eye shadow that was same colors.i walked to the back of the store and found some flat heels on sale, tried them on and they fit perfect !i got them and the slip, make up,skirt, adn bra and checked out after spending almost 2 hours in walmart on a saturday night.lots of college girls out and didn't ever get noticed ! walked by young kids around 13ish ,nothing, early 20's girls, just saw me as another girl.looked at make up for a few minutes, while another young girl was checking out mascara, got no looks or anything, she was pry only 4 feet away !
i checked out and ended up spending almost 60 dollars ! ouch! the cashier was a woman in her 70s pry and asked if it was still cool outside i said yea,it's nice out still.she smiled and said have a nice night.
i barely felt the breeze cause my pantyhose and skirt were quite the thick material, but as soon as i got in my car,i put on my new heels and they were perfect fit !
i had a great time,i passed and got some pretty clothes, just spent mor ethan i thought.i smiled the whole time and had success, thank you girls who have helped me accomplish another BIG BIG step in my path,i thank you all so much!

Well done Michelle :) I know how it is, being en femme in public without anything bad happening (especially the first time) is great fun. Are you planning a second trip ?

i sadly don't have any pics, cause i don't have the camera or anything like that for my computer,i know i should,i just never think to check them out, otherwise i'd happily post some pics.
i have to take my availabilty of going out dressed when the time is available and i'm the only one around, which is only on the last fee weekends ,otherwise others are home and i can't leave dressed,it takes so long to get ready ,i have to do it from home and as for make up i've had some close calls of some masscara that didn't wash off and asked if i was wearing make up,i said it was pry grease.lol.one of these days i'll be able to get out more often when i'm not around others in the household, till then i only have friday and saturday nights.thanks again for your encouragement!

Congrats michelle it sounds like you had a blast. Wish i had the courrage to do it too. My gf would go balistic if she found out i was dressing let alone going out dressed. although i've gone out in daytime near halloween dressed even bought stamps at the post office.

Well anyways i always love hearing first time outting stories give me hope that one day maybe i'll do it when it's not near halloween. ttfn

Michele, sounds like you had a wonderful time!!

Try the Clinique "Take the day off" makeup remover.....it works very well, at least on the Clinique mascara. Well worth the the $17.50 a bottle for quick cleanup!!

Congratulations I could hear the tone of your day thru your words. I'm glad you had a great first outing. The first time out may not be the best of all your days, but it's a day that you will remember forever! I am envious a little because I've never dared go out by myself. My wife is my wingman and probably a bit of a crutch. Good for you for having that courage and doing so well!

By all means get in inexpensive digital camera, but be careful where you store the pics. Photos help me greatly in improving my look, and remembering all the good times.

Have fun!
