A Silly, Inane Question!

I'm sure that this is a silly question, with little redeeming importance. But here it goes... I love wearing my ankle braclet and toe ring/s but have always wondered "is it proper to wear your ankle bracelet on the outside or beneath your hose when you're wearing them?" I've seen GGs do it both ways and just wonder if there's a proper way, or is it more of a "preferential" thing. Us southern girls must do whats proper! Thanks Y'all,

I think they wear them on the inside to keep from loosing them, however the outside would make more sense as it would show them off more.

I actually thought I was not supposed to wear my ankle braclet when I had hose on. My GG friend coached me on that. Not saying thats da 'RULE'...just what I had learned. :eek:

I've seen this question posted once before, and it amazes me each time I see it. I don't recall ever seeing anyone wearing an ankle bracelet under hosiery, but I have now heard more than once from people who are GG's and wear them that way, or know GG's who wear them that way. One woman told me she wears them under ankle-length socks! (She just doesn't take the ankle bracelets off).

As for myself, I love ankle bracelets and mine will always be worn as conspicuously as possible - *outside* the hosiery ( but mostly inside the house, lol, what's the saying, "consistency is the hobgoblin of small minds?")

I don't really think there is a write or wrong way... You do what you like, or can afford (yeah it is hell on many types of nylons wearing them under) and more importantly what best shows off those legs / ankles:love:

I've worn my ankle braclet for about 3 years most all the time. I wear it outside my hose so everyone can see it. Really the only time i take it off IS to put hose on and back it goes.

My wife always wears her on the inside BECAUSE she is too lazy to take it off and put it back on. I on the other hand love mine on the outside so all can see. What is really WRONG is to wear it inside hose and not get it nice and horizontal around your ankle. My wife will have hers at a 45 degree angle and it drives me crazy.

I always wear hosiery because it makes my so-and-so legs look soooooo much better.

Plus I love wearing ankle bracelets because they give you a naughty look. Ok, it can be a bit ****ty too. There's a fine line in there (and I am often on the wrong side of it)

Conclusion: yes, wear your ankle bracelet outside your pantyhose.

I also wear them outside. To my surprise though, I noticed a very attractively-dressed woman the other day wearing two ankle bracelets - one inside, and one out. No, I didn't ask her about it.:p

I wear an ankle bracelet about 50% of the time and always on the outside. I like it to be prominent which would not happen if on the inside. I always wear stockings and don't pay much attention to the "should wear / should not wear" ideas that go around.
