The continuing saga.
I went shopping yesterday and bought some make-up to use for my “daytime” look. My SO was at work this morning, so I decided to try out my day look. I had just finished putting on my face and was reading this forum when the door opens and in comes my SO.
He says, “you’ve got makeup on, are you going somewhere?” I replied that I was just practicing.
About a half hour later I decided to go to a craft store to look for clip-on ear-ring findings. I put on my drab shorts and tee and told my SO that I was going out and would be back in about an hour. He looked at me and said, you still have your makeup on. I answered, yes, I know, and out the door I went.
I went to a local mall (it was about 11:00 AM), did my shopping, had to talk to four different clerks, before finding what I needed. I did not notice any reaction from the staff or customers that I met, and I’m happy about that.
Just to clarify, I was dressed drab, not wearing any jewelry and no wig. I had on foundation, bronze powder, brown, dark blue, light blue eye shadow, brown eye liner, brown eye brow pencil, mascara, bronze lip liner and bronze lip stick. And just a touch of light blush.
I was going to go to HomeDepot, but it looked much too crowded, so I skipped it, this time.
What fun this outing was for me. I almost wore the denim skort I bought yesterday, but I’m still working up to that.
