This continues to perplex me why or why are we still continually questioned why some of us want to be female.
In this time we should be allowed to be who and what we really are inside or what have you.
If one want's to just dress as female or become as much a girl as possible at current then so be it.
There should be no questions asked whatsoever just let it be some of us are female and want to be so outside as well as in!:

In the Democratic Countries of the West there is no longer any Law against an adult being whatever sexual orientation they wish as long as no other person is harmed. Where the problem arises is from a few thousand years of Societal Conditioning interlarded with Religion.
Take for example my place of work, a medium sized factory with associated Admin offices. We have two male homosexuals, three lesbians, that I know of .They are tolerated by the rest of the workforce as they do not infringe in any way on them, the Homosexuals are not "Camp", the Lesbians are not stereotypical "Diesel Dykes".
As far as I am aware I am the only CD although I do not dress outdoors but do wear panties under my drab jeans or trousers. I often wonder how they would tolerate a male worker who dressed "en-femme" and whether he would encounter more hostility from the male or female workforce?
I would have no problems , as long as he could do the work, wasn't lazy or difficult to get on with, I would not be bothered whatever he chose to wear to work or elsewhere.

Look how things have changed for the gays even some accept them as friends just to be cool. So maybe it will be the same for us but then it will take laws and much exposure to the mainstream to get to that point. Me I have never turn away someone who made a jesture of friend ship so I have had quite the collection of people who I call friend.:D

No Law against it but then again there is no Law which really enforces your right to self expression of this type. Too many pinheads in Business and the so-called Private Sector with an anti-liberal agenda are dragging us back to the Bad Old Days. At least among "real" people there's a growing tolerance of diversity. Too bad they don't vote!

There is no "law" per se but still, it's good to question yourself now and again. I see the value of that, otherwise I'm in danger of becoming too ridgid in my thinking one way or the other. From my point of view it's all about balancing myself. When I question myself, it's to see if I am leaning towards becoming unbalanced one way or the other (too much guy or too much girl). It's important to me to maintain that balance as I've explained to some of the other gals here. I still have family members to deal with in any case and have to bear in mind their feelings as well. There are or were, state and or local laws making it illegal to wear a “disguise”. Disguise is very vague and this law is not enforced. Disguise is mainly a different appearance from your photo ID ie drivers license. Not sure it is still on the books will have to look at my copy of the CA Penal code.
A judge in one of the States, in a law suit was going to decide on the gender of a TG by having her XX or XY tested, could set a precedence on what gender you are legally, but I doubt it. It was a divorce case so they do get strange.
No laws on having yourself operated on, except abortion. People have had themselves made to look like cats, cows and alligators etc, with surgery and tattoos. So I do not see how SRS can be made illegal at least in the US and UK.
