...at least some new ones. I have casual everyday panties, comfortable but not too sexy, and sexy , but not so comfortable, and a bunch in between. Anyway, I was wondering if any of you girls have experience with the 'boyshorts' style. They look really sexy in lace, but I'm not sure if they will contain my package, if you know what I mean. I also want a racer back bra, but that's another subject..... :)

Hi,

I personally have not had good luck with the boyshort type of ladies underwear. The leg bands are often quite high and the shape and cut don't seem to keep everything where I would like it to be.

Just my $0.02 worth.

You might look back among the threads. I am sure that this topic has come up before.

I use the Delicates brand of lacy boy shorts from JC Penny

Here's the trick. Hold the panties up and check the length of the gusset (the strip between the leg holes). If it hangs below the leg hole it won't hold you.

Oh my, I was totally thinking of a different panty! Sorry. Actually I am wearing a pair of those right now. Thanks for the pic Donna. I like them well enough, they are black and lacey and pretty, but honestly not the most comfortable panties I own.

I have one pair of boy shorts and I find them less comfortable than any other style.

I usually wear very stretchy microfibre lycra panties and I prefer the boy short style, it doesn't cut in to the groin so much. Even better if they have a short leg. In lycra that means they actually have like a very wide crotch which is ideal :)

Just my two pennyworth.

I havve several different kinds of boyleg panties and I just love them. Though I have found that there are a few styles that can only be worn if you are properly hidden. If you know what I mean. I do have to agree though that most of them are cut to allow your cheeks hang out a little and some are cut to be worn much like a thong only with more material. So they kind of slip between your cheeks when you pull them on and that is pretty much where they stay.
I personally find them to be very sexy and a little showy without being too revealing. And so far I have only found one type that does not lend it's self well to the male parts. The hanes her way sporty boyleg is comfy but they stretch as you wear them and then shrink back when washed. But when they stretch they tend to allow for slippage in that area.
I just got four new pair by hanes, called silk reflections, two are high cut which is what I am wearing now, and two are boyleg. The high cut are very comfy. They are very silky and smooth and feel like you are wearing silky panties but you can look at them and tell that they are at least part cotton.
I will let you know when I try the boyleg and let you know how they feel and fit.

Over all I think that boylegs are great but you must have the rear for them or they will not fit right and will be uncomfortable. You should probably get just one or two pair in different materials and try them before you spend a lot of money on them just to find out that you don't like them. You will probably find that hanes for cotton and some lacy brand from walmart would make a good test. They wont cost to much and will fgive you a good idea of if you like them or not. Also keep in mind that they tend to ride low on the hips below the waist when you wear them so if you just have to have the waist of your panties up high then you will probably not like them.

I hope that this will help.

hugs

Girls

I think it's ironic that "boyshorts" are derived from a garment that was once called "man panties" (skivvies without a fly). :D

boy shorts have always been fine for me. Actually, I like how they are able to raise and separate my......well.....cheeks. *blush*

If I may say so, I think my butt looks the best in boy shorts. ;)

String bikinis are a distant second.

Hot pants, OTOH, are not so comfortable. Sometimes places sell something called "boyshorts" but they're more of a hotpant cut. I.e., there's not much between the legs, thus there's more "spillage."

As long as we're throwing our $0.02 around...

I prefer Thongs, I am not what you may call overly endowed so they fit me fairly well.
Maybe that's why I scored high on the tickle test LOL Oh well we can't all be so gifted.

Thank all you girls for your advise, and information. I'm now wearing a pair of Hanes 'sporty' boy brief, as they are called by hanes. I got them in a size 5 and they fit very well. Will make a good everyday pantie, and besides, they are kinda cute. I'll get some sexy lace, and silky one's later.

Size 5??? My God girl you need to start eating!

Anyway, Target's line, Gilleana O'Malley, has a REAL nice boy cut in lycra spandex. They fit me the way boxer briefs used to fit. I have a few and use them as my every day-go to work panty (size 7 I might add.....).

i'll second what most have said. the boy shorts (interesting that name) are just not made for the boys, well, bits. they are cut in such a way that make them rather uncomfy.
