A good time at the Be-All.

I just attended my first Be-All and had a fantastic time. Met a lot of nice girls. The best time I had was dancing Saturday night. I usually don't dance much in boy mode but in drag I have more confidence and am less inhibited.
Anyway I can't wait to go dancing again. The highlight of my trip was getting to spend 10 minutes one on one with Dr. Marci Bowers. What a fantastic lady and highly skilled surgeon. I am looking forward to next year.

Hi Tamara, I had hoped to meet some girls from this site but unfortunately it did not happen. I only got to spend Friday and Saturday at the event. I got to go out to the bar totally relaxed because of having so many other girls around for comfort. I don't go to the clubs here because I would be by myself. I met girls from all over the U.S. (must have been too far to drive for the U.K. girls) They had a dinner Saturday night, and a DJ to dance to after the dinner. Guess what I forgot to take with me? My camera (boo-hoo).
Anyway it was a great atmosphere for fun!

Ok,who did you meet, what did you do, what did you weare,how many people were there,etc.etc.etc.and how many times have we told you not to leave home without the damn camera.

There are some of us who just couldn't go so it was up to you to bring back pictures,sort of like us being there but not really.

Above all else we are so glad that you were able to go and had a great time.
Ok so now no more dancing except in girl mode.We love you.

i was at the beall all week long with my wife we had a really good time i must have seen you i was the tall girl with long redish hair there was a few of us there from this site and yes there was girls from my home land of england too thay came especially for the beall i can highly recomend going if you can next year there is a lot of interesting things there to see and do i even whent out dressed for the first time to wallmart tryed things on went to one of the biggest shopping mall over hear in the u.s.a.chicago is the place to go dressed even went to a night club any way too much to list as to what we did out side the convention and hopping to go to southern comfort convention in atlanta georgia :D this is one vary happy girl

I am sorry we did not get to meet. I love getting to meet other girls from the forum. I was there from Wednesday to Sunday and had a great time. I did get to meet Trisha and her wife, as well as Rexy and Michelle. We all had a wonderful time and had a chance to share with each other some of our experiences as well as have some great food and entertainment.

I also got to meet the author of Alice in Genderland and got a signed copy of her book. Alice is a wonderful person and a beautiful woman. I am so looking forward to reading her book.

We went to a dinner theater and saw a show, then went to a local bar and listened to a local Chicago rock band called Barley Standing which has a ts bass player named Stevie who is a wonderful person. We also drank way to much and ate to much chocolate and I think I put on a couple of pounds as well. But we did not forget the camera and as soon as my wife gets a chance to pull the pics form the camera I will post some of them.

We also got to do some shopping and I got a new pair of 4in heels that I am still learning to walk in. My feet and calves are still hurting from the heels but it was worth it. I also got to get some new Mary Kay makeup form one of the girls in the community so if any of you girls want to get in touch with her just let me know. I do know that she has a website which you can order the stuff from but I am not sure about the shipping. But I can easily get in touch with her and find out about it and let anyone who is interested know what she says. Just email me if you are interested. I think that it is great that we have someone in the community that is involved in that type of business so we have access to it.

I will also be posting more on my blog about my trip so don’t forget to look there as well. And to the girls that I met there please email me so that we can talk about the pictures that we took during the trip. I don’t want to post any of them that have other girls in them without permission from you so that I don’t cause any problems.

Overall it was a great time and I would recommend it to anyone who can attend without hesitation. It is a great learning experience and a great way to get out without serious worry about having problems with people outside the community.
