Hair Extensions?

Just saw some cute hair extensions on QVC today and wondered if anyone has ever tried them? Just give me your experiences...

nope, have never tried them, thought about it, only wore my wig a couple of times, think ill just let my hair grow.

Are these the clip on kind or the glue in kind? I know several GGs that weqar the clip on type, and you would never know it is a clip-on hair extension, they look great!

Beauty Trends usually have these very cheap, when they have a sale it is buy one get one free I believe....

They are the clip on kind. I am wondering how much it would cost to get them done professionally? Anyone know?

They are pretty expensive - and pretty permanent too. They have to be professionally removed unless you are planning to keep them very long term.... I had this planned for a big Christmas vacation period, but the deal fell through :(

how much are we talking here? I thought I heard something like 300 or more? Not worth that for just wearing them one week.

A friend of mine (hairdresser) offered to give me me extensions for $250. When I figured out the length I wanted it would end up being only 3" longer. I figured that for $250 I can wait for it to grow. I might let him color my hair though.
