I am soooo, soooo excited!!! I just finished watching "Him to Her" on the Discovery Channel. It was a very fair, inteligent, and informational program on M2F (mostly) and F2M (less) sex change. I just happened upon it while channel surfing. I caught most of the one hour show. It must have started at 11PM eastern time.
Did anyone else catch this? Did anyone tape it? I wonder if it will be run again? I wonder if a CD copy of it will be made available? We need far more of this sort of program to educate the public.
OK, Stephenie, calm down. I was sooo pleased and I hope that at least some of you all got to see it too.

Lovies,
Stephenie

Missed it! I try to catch those shows but was busy on the computer and never turned the tube on. Discovery Channel tends to play things over and over so there's a good chance it will be on again soon. There was a plastic surgery show the other night part of which was Butt Implants, never saw that op before!

Sorry I missed it. I'll be looking for reruns of it, though. Thanks for the tip.

Yes, I watched it. Hope you didn't miss Elizabeth? She was stunning. Good show for TS's.

Dear Sally,

Thanks so much for the link. I will try to remember so I can get my wife to watch it next Thursday night.
I will mention it at work too because I think the more people who are exposed to this in a non sensational manner the better for all.

Lovies,
Stephenie

Discovery often shows these (there are a couple) on Thursday evenings around 10pm. I have found them to be very interesting and well presented. I have taped a couple episodes for family members who may have some questions after I tell them about myself. No one has taken me up on the offer yet though.

They do portray transgender issues very well, and they are not sensationalized like most stuff concerning TGism.

They are also very inspiring and I admire those who were willing to stand up and be noticed in these specials in an attempt to educate others.
