Went shopping (in drab) at my local Goodwill store yesterday and picked up some bargains. Wow!

Two white summer skirts, one A-line denim and one pencil slim with no kick pleat and in great condition. Then I looked for tops. Found a beautiful pale yellow knitted mock-turtleneck sleeveless shell which goes great with the pencil skirt and my white blazer. Also got a like new off-white long sleeve turtleneck sweater which will go with almost anything.

Wonder of wonders, everthing fitted me when I got home. I must be getting better at sizes as I didn't dare try anything on at the store

Because it was senior citizen's day, all this stuff totalled $14.73. :D :D

I love my Goodwill store!!

I love the goodwill alot. Don't get a chance to get in there much with my wife. So I settle for e-bay most of the time. But, I love goodwill and you can not beat them for skirts0.02

The Goodwill flagship store in SF is wild. I can find DKNY stuff with the tags still on it. And being in SF they don't even bat an eye when i want to try on a prom dress.

Its my modified binge and purge. I buy from Goodwill, wear it a couple of times, then turn it in for credit at other thrift stores.

I lived in SF from 1980 to 1986. I wasn't dressing a whole lot but I did dress for periods when I had a chance. I remember the store, was it a goodwill about 15th and Mission. Also the Sally about 24th and Valencia. They were both great.

Yeah, It was kinda sad when Sylvias closed in Brewer. They had a lot of vintage stuff in there.......
