Stepping out in MN

I have only been on this site for about a week, but I am already getting more confidence in my female self. I am wondering if anyone could help me find places to go and things to do while cding in Minneapolis, MN. Remember, I am new at this having only walked around my apt. complex fully dressed. Any help would be great.

We got to know karencd and her wife Peggy very well. They go out a lot and are a very active group. We live about 4 hours from Minneapolis so we did not have much of a chance to participate. I think that you will at least get a start and feel welcomed by this group. If you go to the main triess website

Hi Christie, Welcome to Minneapolis. I am a cd and have found it quite difficult to contact others. I enjoy going shopping en femme and on occasion visiting friendly public places. It would be nice to meet and/or chat. I will check back to look for an answer

I like art centers and museums, trendy galleries, nice little off the path restaurants and big time dance clubs. I find that:

Younger rather than Older >> Raves are better than Big Band reviews
Art rather than sport >> do the Walker and not a Vikings home game
Money vs sketch >>> The more expensive the place, in general the fewer problems


So find an event with lots of rich, young artistic types and poof! You're there.

Christie, I will just ditto what Kitty said.

The Mpls Triess group seems like a great bunch of people. My wife and I first met 3 of the couples at a SPICE event in Denver and then this last Februray we met with two of the couples and two other cders for a night out for dinner, which just happened to be my wifes first time out with Kim. They made my wife very comfortable and we had a good time.

When I was living in the Twin Cities, there was a group called CLCC. Then again, that was 10 years ago!!!!!!

The CLCC plan gatherings with the MN TRIESS group. We went to a halloween party that was for both groups.

Twin Cities Pride is this weekend in loring park in Minneapolis it is a two day event and the all the groups are there ... I try to go every year with some other friends .. I can be very interesting and informative. See ya there :happy:
