Private CD lounge partisapation ?

Looking to venture out what would the responce be, if there was a lounge not a gay bar, to speek though i know there is a safe haven for all of us.
But if there was a place that you could go to,that was just for the tg/cd where you could shop, talk and share.
Would you feel safe going to one, and if not what kind of reasuring would make you give it a try.
I go to the local meeting and for a short time everyone has a good time but its only once a month what about a private setting not a bar what if ?

You might want to drop a line to Carla in San Jose (www.carlas.com) She operates a CD boutique that includes a lounge. Last time we were there, we had lunch there and visited with some girls. It's a nice place. She can tell you more about what kind of turn out they get.

I've been to Carlas many times. Carla is great and the people at her place are the best! I've met a lot of very nice CDs and TS ladies there. Unlike other T* places/events I've been, there are no admirers at Carlas, so you don't feel like you're at a gay pickup bar.

There is no one I've met on the East Coast like Carla. Therefore there is no place like Carla's on the East Coast, either. Too bad.
