Are there special combs for wigs? I've been using our normal everyday comb. I just seem to get a few strans every time I have combed my new wig? I figure any comb will pull hair stans out, but I'm not sure?

Thanks, Pattysue

If your wig is SHORT, you can get away using a comb but it seems as though your wig has some length. Throw away the comb and get one made by Revlon. It has about 5 teeth and doesn't destroy your wig. There are also some that you can get at Walmart that have about 10 teeth, widely spaced apart that work well. There are also long tine picks available.

Here's a pic of mine, may help you find it easier.

Also, start at the ends and work you way towards the 'scalp'.

Thanks for the info. I will look for one of those styles on the next Wal-Mart trip.

the wider the better..... or so they say

Often wigs are too thick anyway, so don't worry if some comes out, but you dont want to stretch the hair or fibres of your wig or it will go frizzy.

If you have an expensive wig make sure you use perper wig care products.

www.wigsonline.con.au have a great comb and excellent products
