Where do you live hon? While I am probably not the best to give makeovers, it would help to know exactly what you are looking for, and then possibly either point you in the right direction or offer some advice. I can understand that it can be a daunting task to try and find help, but for the most part this community is more than willing to try. While that help may or may not result in an actual makeover, we can offer advice, support, and a caring environment which may enable you to find what you are looking for.

Your friendly neighborhood MAC store/counter, Sephora store, or department store cosmetic counter would be quite willing to do so.

There's also those "transformation services" in or near the big cities

As Veronica stated - any department store would be more then willing to give you a makeover. Another idea is to order sample makeup off of freebie websites (do a search on google) and experiment till your hearts content!
