Now that come out to my wife I've gone a little overboard maybe. Now I'll dress 24/7 for days at a time. I'm much happier and feeling fulfilled. And now I've found I don't need sex as much. But now have been experiencing erectile dysfunction. No I'm not taking hormones. My wife thinks it's because I'm giving into CD'ing as much as I am. The problem did start soon after I became more active. Anyone else having this problem? Or maybe it's coming from something else?

high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, and medication you might be taking either non-prescription/prescription/recreational drugs. Any of these can lead to ED.
Also going overboard might have helped if you are/were dressing for the sexual excitement of it...

I've always had erectile problems.... but I think I just don't like the texture of condoms. Not to mention the smell! :hmmm:

Add pain pills to that list....and Zoloft (anti depressant), although I think Zoloft causes inability to "E" (avoiding the glares from the admin here) :D rather than ED.

The stronest drug I use is excedrin now and then and I don't use alchol either. I can't say that CD'ing is just for sexual excitement. It is of course, sexualy exciting, but I've been CD'ing, altough in the closet, since very early childhood. I didn't even know what masterbation was until I was 15. It's more euphoric and comforting to me. I guess crossdressing is my drug of choice.

I have been dealing with this for years. With me it's drugs, I undergo Chemo and I in between Chemo treatments I had a Prostate procedure done. My wife is a Saint, she is patient and loving.
If your wife is supportive and from the sound of things she is, show her your softer side, let her know you care about her and don't put CDing first. CDing will always be with you but a living and supportive wife is a rare find.0.02

I can relate to that!
Between blood pressure medicine, etc.....
Sexual appetite isnt what it used to be.
And I dont like viagra, cialis, etc.....
But cross dressing does cause sexual excitement

Funny, dressing reduces my drive tremenously - which is probably the missus' favorite aspect. Twenty years ago, however, when I dressed, it drove my drive lunatic.

If it is a serious concern talk to your doctor.

It's called the "Pink Fog". All you can think about is CD-ing. This is usually a sign that you need to balance CD-ing with the rest of your life.

Let's put it this way Sheena. I don't respond to romantic situations any more unless I'm Ericka.

are you tucking too much? I think it affects me.I have less erections after going out for about eight hours tucked.I don't really need erections anyway so it doesn't really bother me.

I have talked to several tg's who have said things along the same lines has or is happening to them including myself. But for me it is not so much a matter of not being able to as much as not really being interested in sex in general. My wife and I are seeing a counsler because of it and he seems to think that it comes from some issue that is unresolved between my wife and I but I have thought from the start that is has something to do with the fact that I am a tg. And the more I talk to other tg's the more I tend to believe that I am right. I don't know if it has to do with acceptance or something else but I am at this point convinced that it is tg related in some way. I plan on trying to find a shrink that deals with the tg community so that I can try to find out what is actually causing the problem because we have gone for as much as 6 or 7 months without sex in a single stretch.
