View Full Version : My Outing

Last night, I attended my support group meeting dressed up. It was the first time I was en femme with them and some did not recognize me.

Afterwards, I was out on the crowded streets dressed. I was very calm and unafraid. I wanted to do this and I did. My goal is to encourage other CD/TVs to be out present ourselves to the world. Society won't understand us unless we are out there.

It was the climax of a great week. My spouse and I talked two times about my dressing up. She understands that it's part of me. She likes some of my clothes so much that she wants to borrow of them. Funny how things work out.

Pink Star with glitter sprinkles on it. Good for you. Of course you don't need my permision, which is granted of course my dear one, because you got all you needed. And you are right, the more of us there are, the easier and better it is. So thanks babe. You Rock!

Hi Gennee:

I just wish that EVERY ONE OF US would have the opportunity to take their first steps.

Being a little selfish, I'm thinking a lot more of us on the streets, it becomes "old news" and we get more tolerance and acceptance.

Looking at it from another angle, it's such fun and empowering to be out there, I just wish all of you Gals could share the fun and joy that goes with stepping out of the closet.

See Gennee, it was a heck of a lot easier than you thought and it gets easier with each successive adventure!

Peace and love, Joanie

For those of you still hidden deep in the closet, try getting out. There are at least a few places to go in any city. If you're still afraid Halloween is only a few months away.

Gennee, Just keep going forward. Even if it a baby step, it's still forward. And if you have a setback, teenage girls, just write it off as a bad day. tomarrow will be better. Good luck..BJ
