I should have posted this sooner but I have been using this so long I did not even think to. I have been using Jergens shave reducing lotion for almost 2 years. I use it at least once a day, just a small dab over my lip and around my jawline. I still have to shave of couse but I can wait much longer now before that nasty grey begins showing up. I have a much easier time covering it than I used to. The hairs are finer than they used to be. Although this is a good moisturizer I use it only on my upper lip and jawline and chin. It irritates my skin on my neck. Results are not immediate. If you use it daily you should start to notice results in about 2 to 3 weeks. Aveeno and others also make a similar product. Highly recommended for CD's.
Hugs, Christine

Oh yes, I use Aveeno. My 5 o'clock comes around the next day. I think the longer I use it the better it works.

I have been using Aveeno also, but not long enough yet to see any results. It's only the upper lip I'm concerned with as I had a mustache for 20 years before shaving it a year ago. Even freshly, and repeatedly, shaved, my upper lip remains gray.

I've been using the Aveeno product for awhile now. Not just on my face, but everywhere. And, it appears to really work for me. Like Donna, my 5 o'clock shadow appears the next day, and if I let the facial hairs grow (uck) a little it's softer and finer. This softer and finer has also been true of the rest of the body. But, it appears to work the best on the legs.

When I shave my chest and use it for at least three days afterwards, when the hair starts to grow back in it isn't stubbly. It's just kind of there, soft and fine. Don't expect miracles, it doesn't work over night.

Thanks christine, I will give it a try, great idea.
I have been thinking about laser hair removal a lot lately since I have dark hair it is hard to cover, I'll try this first.
Thanks

Laser's fab!!! Expensive, but very fab! :D

I've been having my underarms zapped, as no matter how well I shaved them, they'd still look stubbly, from the moment I stepped out of the shower. I thought the only answers were epilating/waxing, and then got told about laser. It seems the visible-stubble curse of fair skin/dark hair just underneath is the makes-it-more-efficient blessing of laser, and now I only have small patches of wimpy looking hair struggling on through (some of which is still falling out since my last treatment). I'm now waiting for the growth spurt that apparently happens, and then getting 'em all zapped again - hurrah! :D

May look into some of those hair-reducing creams though - would they be any good for legs, and are they hideously expensive?...
