Hi all,

With the blazing effects of Global Warming upon us, all the women I see out and about are wearing flip flops/thongs. I've seen plain rubber ones like the ones I grew up with in So. Cal. But, now, there are all manner of them, jeweled ones, ones in outrageous colors, ones with little shiny accents.

I LOVE the look of them, so cute. My question, anybody found any online in larger sizes?

Cheers!

Hard to believe but, in Portland Maine, these (hideous) things are everywhere on women's feet - it's like 1-out-of-5. And if you think the above is hard on the eyes, imagine orange (which is popular). Shudder!

Oh, they're out there. Never ever liked them. My Mom got me a pair as a kid, and I kept on scraping my big toes. And don't get me going on the noise those infernal things make. Day Tripper, I agree those thing are hideous. Just my 0.02 Love and xxxx, Lily

Those pink shoes??? Can we call them shoes.

They kind of ( except for the holes all over) remind me of gardening clogs that places like LL Bean used to sell ( still may sell them) Great for the garden.... slip ons and can be rinsed off with a hose. But these "things" for everyday wear...... YUCK!!!!

Glad to say tht I never say them here in PA... yet...of course I don't get out much! lol
:kickbutt: to anyone who would consider wearing them.

Where are the fashion police when you need them!

I just got a new pair this year with flowers on them. I got them at the L.L. Bean outlet store in freeport. L.L. Bean and flip flops. Just doesn't fit but that's were I got them.

Don't you remember the flap those girls got for wearing flip-flops when they met the President? Many flip-flops are fashionable and many are not. I wear them, but will not wear a shotty pair out in public. I have seen just about the whole range of footware worn in public. I once saw a lady wearing a pair of Bunny slippers shopping in Walmart.

Hey now, don't knock them till you've tried them! I practically live in my Crocs--despite the fact thatmy first reaction was anything but positive. They come in all sorts of fun, festive colors and they are way comfy (Why do you think so many people wear them?) BTW: my pink ones are my favorite pair:D I've never been much of a flip-flop person (can't stand that strap between my toes) so for me, Crocs are a great fashion alternative.

Hi Sedona,Check out http://www.designershoes.com/index.htm?action=products&deptid=18401

for a few styles that go to size 15, and they're on sale too.

I recently bought several of these and they run a size large, so order accordingly.

There are some really cute flip flops out there and I like the ones that have some heel.

BUT, the moment one starts to walk in one of those things it all changes. Why do you think they call them flip-flops? Can't stand the noise or the sloppy look they have when they are doing their flopping.

Now, the click-click of a nice pair of high heels is alluring!

Taiwan is the Land of Flip Flops. I have seen more funky, ugly looking feet than humans should have to endure...
