Hi girls,
I just found out that I have to travel to Maryland for the weekend (work related). I was sad when I first found out but then I thought maybe I can make th best of this thing by going out during the evenings as Steffie. I'll be my myself. I'm not too familiar with Maryland though. This place is somewhere near the Gaithesburg area. I wonder if there are any CD friendly places to go? I guess I'll have to do trial and error to find out. So far I have only dressed as Steffie in NJ and NY so I can add another state now; 47 to go. lol

I'm in Maryland but have only been here a few months. Most of the accepting clubs are in Dupont Circle. you can metro to it or you can rent a car and park somewhere near the clubs and walk to it a few blocks. The one I went to last weekend (see my thread) is called "Chaos". It's mostly a gay club but there are usually several CDs there and they do a drag show where some TS's dance around for dollars. They pretty much dance and lip synch and you give them a buck if you like them and they come take it from you, it's a lot of fun. I would go with you but I am supposed to have a friend come in from out of town but I haven't got the time table with him hammered out yet so I can't make any comitments.

Dear Stephie,
Lots of CDers in Baltimore. I wouldn't know how to connect though. It's been years since I was there. Put out some feelers on different boards. There's bound to be some response. Also the DC area.
Good luck,

Dupont Circle is your best bet.

It is my understanding that there is a gay friendly area in Baltimore. It is near Baltimore's Washington Monument. That is near the art museum. You might be able to look up the carriage house restaurant (or something like that.) I have been through that area and seen some people dressed in unique attire and I've seen same sex couples walking down the street holding hands. It would be a safer place.... but Baltimore is not the most wonderful place on earth to get lost, and it is easy to get lost. Frankly, everytime I have used Google or Mapquest to find somewhere, I have gotten lost.
Everywhere is a little CD friendly. The mall would work.

Thanks girls. I will keep all these places in mind. My business trip was postponed but it may be the following week. I will definitely get there soon though.

My plans fell apart with my old highschool friend and now I'm free this weekend. Too bad you aren't still coming up or you could go out with me and my friend. She and I will be going to a gay club in DC and I'll be dressed up.
